ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT


Consultative Meeting with the SIP Team for Teachers’ Computer Literacy

Rationale Computer literacy is defined as the knowledge and ability to utilize


computers and related technology efficiently, with a range of skills
covering levels from elementary use to computer programming and
advanced problem solving. Computer literacy can also refer to the
comfort level someone has with using computer programs and other
applications that are associated with computers. Another valuable
component is understanding how computers work and operate. Computer
literacy may be distinguished from computer programming which is
design and coding of computer programs rather than familiarity and skill
in their use.
As teachers, the school believe in the importance of the said skill.
Objectives The objectives of the meeting are the following:
a. To review status of the school, Teachers Computer Literacy
b. To develop projects to address the problem
c. To schedule dates of activities

Expenses 300 pesos will be allocated for the snacks from the Canteen Fund
Monitoring and The school head of Dagat-Dagatan Elementary School together with the
Evaluation SIP Team conducted a meeting and worked hand in hand to promote
quality education among the pupils. The group conducted a small talk
last October 19, 2018 regarding the contents, composition formulation
and planning of activities to improve the teachers’ computer literacy. The
following matters where discussed and the said meeting.
• Review of the school status/ Teachers’ Computer Literacy
The school head together with the SIP Team determined that some of the
teachers need to develop skills with regards to computer manipulation.

• Developing projects to address the problem


An INSET will be organized to train the teachers.

• Scheduling dates for the activities


The INSET will be held on October 23-25, 2018.
