DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE 4

I. LESSON OBJECTIVES

At the end of the period, the pupils will be able to:

a. Identify the parts of a seed


b. Differentiate Monocot from Dicot seeds as to its structures
c. Illustrate understanding on the functions of each part.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

TOPIC: Monocot and Dicot

Materials: Charts, Pictures, Scotch tape, Felt- tip –pen, Scissors

ABSTRACTION

The seeds for new life are found


inside fruit. They contain everything
necessary for the growth and
development of a new plant.

and Dicot seed”

students of Grade IV- Gold.
