    METHOD STATEMENT FOR GI PUDDLE FLANGES INSTALLATION

    Installation Procedure

    1. Identify and mark the location of puddle flanges as per approved shop drawing.
    2. Coordinate with civil for cutting the steel rebar to accommodate the puddle flange in
    place as shown in approve shop drawing.
    3. After completion of cutting the steel rebar, lift & position the puddle flange in place as
    per the drawing.
    4. Provide horizontal & vertical steel rebar support to hold the puddle flange in place, use
    appropriate size of rebar tie wire to secure the rebar support & tie the puddle flanges.
    5. Gradually adjust the rebar support including the puddle flange until the correct
    alignment & level is accomplished.
    6. Finally fasten both the rebar support & the puddle flange with tie wire rigidly.
    Tightening /Binding must be done carefully to avoid any movement that may cause
    misalignment of the puddle flange.
    7. After completion of installation of puddle flange, civil will be inform. Any additional
    support needed as per structural requirement will be provided by Civil.
    8. Inspection & approval will be taken from supervision consultant for the installation of
    puddle flange; this is prior for civil closing the shutter & pouring the concrete.
