The ninth annual Dead Elf Music Award is announced, offering $500 to an outstanding composition by a University of Pittsburgh graduate student. graduate student. All currently enrolled graduate students in music are eligible to apply.
Amount of the award: $500
Applicants should submit whatever they consider to be their best
composition: one printed copy of the score and links to downloads of a pdf of the score and, if available, a recording. (A data stick is also acceptable). Purely electroacoustic works will be considered, in which case the score requirement is waived. The jury for the competition will remain anonymous.
