(a) What is mechatronics? What are the objectives of mechatronics? Explain
briefly the elements of a measuring system with an example
(b) What is the difference between a sensor & transducer? What do you mean by
the term filtering & filter? How are filters classified?

What is a clock? Why a clock is necessary in a microprocessor? Draw the
ideal & non-ideal clock.

Differentiate between diode, thyristors & transistor.
With the help of neat sketch explain the data & instruction flow in a 8085
microprocessor.

With reference to 8085, classify the instruction set & explain the following:

(iv) Stack pointer
(v) Accumulator.
Give the significance of SIM and RIM instruction available in 8085. Explain the
programrning rnodel of 8085.
