The document discusses various alarm and monitoring systems including different types of data stations, data converters, displays and control units.

The different types of data stations mentioned are AHD-SAS 15, AHD-PS 47, AHD-PS 30, AHD-PS 15, and AHD-R 101.

The AHD-SAS 15 data station can connect to sensors for 4-20mA signals, contacts, PT100/PT1000 temperature sensors, thermocouples, and voltages between 0-5V, 0-10V, and 0-30V.

AHD-SAS 15 Data station

Internal measuring value processing

All acquired measuring data are internally

processed and standardized.

On demand, special characteristic curves

can be applied by configuration, i.e. for non
linear sensors or tank content
measurements.

Additionally it is possible to create virtual

channels, whose resulting values are
calculated from multiple physical sensors.
A virtual channel may be used e.g. for
calculation of total fuel reserve by
summation of several tank contents or
mean value calculation of exhaust gas
temperatures.
AHD-SAS 15 Data station

Integrated alarm memory

An integrated alarm memory may record

up to 10,000 messages within a data
station AHD-SAS 15.
These may be warning, alarm, sensor
fault or also status messages.
The storage considers here all locally
arising events and stores them with date,
time, duration and acknowledgement
state. The readout of memory can be
performed locally via existing RS232
interface.
(Readout via CAN-BUS in progress).

1) Potential free contacts, Normally Open (NO) and
Normally Closed (NC).
2) Potential free contacts, Normally Open (NO) and
Normally Closed (NC), with combined common pole.
3) Transistor inputs, minus-switching, with common
minus potential. Those sensors are switched like
contacts. The minus terminal of input (N) remains
unconnected.
4) Potential free contacts, Normally Open (NO) and
Normally Closed (NC), with combined common pole
with minus potential. The minus terminal of input (N)
remains unconnected.
5) Potential free contacts, Normally Open (NO) and
Normally Closed (NC), with combined common pole
with plus potential. The input terminals (P + N) are
shorted to allow measurement of change of potential
in case of switching of contact.
6) Transistor inputs, plus-switching, with common plus
potential. The input terminals (P + N) are shorted to
allow measurement of change of potential in case of
switching of transistor.
