    Mostly student goes to Germany for bachelor, Masters, and Ph.D. program.

    But the number of


    Ph.D. students is very small. That’s why I will discuss about Bachelor and Masters students
    what they should do to obtain a German Study Visa.

    To apply for the German study Visa, students must fulfill these requirements:
    1. Prospective student must have a valid Passport
    2. 3 Biometrical Photograph
    3. Completed and signed visa form (2 copies)
    4. Admission letter from the University.
    5. HSC Certificate and Marksheets
    6. Previous Study proof, if applicable
    7. Proof of language proficiency
    • German medium student “Zertificate B1”
    • English medium student “TOEFL or IELTS” + 1 academic year completed in
    accredited Bangladeshi University
    8. Proof of financial solvency during the study period.
    • Block 10.236 € in students personal German Bank Account.
    9. Valid Health Insurance.

    First 3 requirements are not too complicated to manage, but No. 4, to get an Admission letter
    from the University, a student must be very careful with finding universities, following the
    deadlines, fulfill all admission requirements and maintain regular contact with the university.

    Again No. 5 & 6 are easy to manage, but No. 7, As a Proof of language proficiency, Student
    must complete required Language Level before applying to the University.

    No. 8. When a student has an admission letter issued by a university, he can open a German
    Bank Account and Block the required money as security of financial solvency.

    No. 9 Every student must have health insurance from the day of arrival. And it can be
    managed by specific German Health insurance Company.

    After fulfilling all the requirements, students have to apply for a visa interview and submit all
    the documents. Then the German Embassy will arrange an appointment for an Interview.
    Something student should wait for up to 8 weeks for the interview. But Student should not
    worry about that. Because meanwhile they will process the submitted documents and verify
    them. After the interview, the student will get a confirmation about the visa very soon. If
    something went wrong, and they refuse the visa, Student should not panic. They can get
    multiple appointments. Sometimes a student gets a visa at their 3rd or 4th interview. But after
    getting the visa student can fly immediately. And they can visit more than 26 European
    countries without any visa. This is a lifetime opportunity for a Bangladeshi student. So, every
    student should try for their bright future.
