You were given an opportunity to choose a Campus where you may like to attend the Counselling. You have chosen
Mumbai Campus of NIFT for counselling. The details of the Nodal Officer of the campus is as below:
1. You may contact the Nodal Officer, if required, for clarification from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM (Monday to Friday).This
letter however does not confirm your admission to NIFT, which is subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and
the applicable Rules and Policies of NIFT.
2. All candidates have been called for counselling as per their Common Merit Rank (CMR). Once the seat of a particular
category is filled up, the admission process of that particular category will be stopped. The status of vacant seats will
be updated on NIFT website every day. Therefore, you are advised to check NIFT website regularly and plan your
counselling accordingly. Please report to the NIFT Campus selected by you for counseling at the specified date & time
with the requisite documents as mentioned in Para 3, failing which your seat would be allotted to the next available
candidate as per the order of merit list.
3. Please bring the following documents in original with a self-attested photocopy of each document for verification
along with the office letter. To ensure that you are carrying all the required documents with you, please put a tick
mark against each in the table appended below for confirmation. The original documents will be returned to you
immediately after verification :
Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination, showing the subjects offered by him/her in the examination.
Physics, Chemistry and Math for B.F. Tech.
Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination
Certificate from the prescribed authority showing that he/she belongs to a Schedules Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC (Non-Creamy)
category. (Applicable only to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ OBC (Non-Creamy) category).

Note: Annexures are also available at NIFT website. Candidates are required to print and submit a duly filled-in form at the time of
Counselling
In case any certificate submitted by you is found to be false & fabricated or not conforming to the stipulated standards
mentioned in the NIFT Admission Guidelines, your admission will be cancelled without any notice and the fee paid by you
shall be forfeited.
Please also carry Demand Draft of Rs.1,26,900/- (Rupees One lakh twenty six thousand nine hundred only) on account
of the fee for 1st Semester drawn in favour of the NIFT HO payable at the city of the counselling (for example: in case
you are attending the counselling at NIFT Patna, DD should be made in favour of NIFT-HO Payable at Patna). The
breakup of the fee is as under :

4. In the Second round of counselling all candidates holding a Common Merit rank are also given an option of availing
the vacant seats of NRI under the category "Children/Wards of NRI" on the day of counselling, subject to submission

5. Participation in the counselling Session is mandatory, along with the requisite documents and demand draft as
mentioned above. In case you fail to attend the counselling Session, it will be presumed that you are not interested
in our offer of admission and you will not be eligible for admission. If for any reason, you are not in a position to
attend in person, you may authorize to be represented by your parents or guardians. Please give your representative
an undertaking as prescribed in Annexure-VII.
6. Please note that if the final result of the qualifying certificate/degree (the minimum prescribed qualification for
eligibility for admission to this programme) has not been declared, you may submit an undertaking (Annexure-I) on
Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.10/- for seeking provisional admission at the time of counselling. The undertaking
ensures that results of the qualifying certificate/degree shall be submitted by you latest by 30thSeptember, 2018,
failing which your candidature shall be cancelled and the fee deposited with NIFT at the time of counseling shall be
forfeited.
7. A candidate, who has taken admission once and then withdraws, the refund against the withdrawal of the seat shall
be governed as under :
On or after the date of start of last round of counselling Only Security Deposit
*Date of start of last round of counselling will be published on the NIFT website.
(i) Requests for withdrawal of admission are to be made in the prescribed form (Annexure- III) with the original
Admission Receipt issued at the time of counselling/admission. The documents are to be submitted to the Director of
the Campus where the candidate attended the counselling .
(ii) After commencement of the academic session, refund request may be submitted to the Director of the
Campus allotted to the candidate. The candidates will be required to surrender the original Admission
Receipt issued at the time of Counselling / Admission while applying for withdrawal of admission. Requests
for withdrawal of admission would not be entertained without original admission receipt.

Admission Department at the Head Office in New Delhi.
