1. A 4 cm long line on a map represents a 1.5 m length. Determine the RF and draw a
scale long enough to measure up to 6m. Show a distance of 4.6 m on it.
2. Draw an involute of a circle of 50 mm diameter. Also draw a tangent and a normal at a
point 100 mm distant from the center of the circle.
3. A 70 mm long line PQ is inclined at 300 to the HP. The end P is 15 mm in front of the
VP and 25 mm above the HP. The front view of the line measures 45 mm. Draw its
projections and determine the true angle of inclination with V.P.
4. Draw the projections of a regular pentagon of 40 mm side, having its surface inclined
at 30o to the H.P. and a side parallel to the H.P. inclined at an angle of 60o to the V.P.
5. A Hexagonal prism has one of its rectangular faces parallel to HP. Its axis is
perpendicular to the VP and 35 mm above the ground. It is having base side as 30 mm
and height is 60 mm. Draw its projection.
6. A cone, base 75 mm diameter and axis 75 mm long has its axis parallel to the V.P. and
inclined at 45o to the H.P. A horizontal section plane cuts the cone through the mid-
point of the axis. Draw the front view, sectional top view and an auxiliary top view on
a plane parallel to the axis.
7. Draw the development of a triangular prism having 30 mm edge of base and axis 65
mm long.
8. Draw an isometric view of a cylinder with a 50 mm base diameter and a 70 mm long
axis when the base is on the HP.
9. Draw the orthographic projections of the given isometric drawing.
