4.8 Stability
The machine shall be of an adequate stable design. The
machine shall have a bearing surface which transmits
to the ground a maximum pressure of 400 kPa.

subjected to a horizontal force of 300 N applied in all
directions at a point 1 650 mm from the ground or at

4.9 Additional requirements for vertical wedge
splitters
In order to prevent foot injuries to the operator, on
