Adjust the thickness of shims within the range of 0 - 1.0 mm so that the output voltage of the rack sensor
becomes as specified in the table below.

NOTE :
1 . The 1st cylinder is on the governor side. FULL
2 . Adjusting Lever Angle (fig. 1)
Setting position 0° to be at vertical position. 0°
3 . Lever angle shuld be decided by the position of lever shaft center
and a hole on the lever. The hole is at the shortest distance (47.0 mm)

4 . Injection Quantity Measurement at Start-Up
At Pb = 0 kPa (0 mmHg) and Np = 0 rpm, move the adjusting lever
from IDLE to FULL, and then measure at Np = 100 rpm.
5 . Stop Lever Set
Rack travel must be 5.0 mm or less when the stop lever is pulled at pump speed 0 rpm in idle
lever position.
6 . Stop Lever Operation
(1) Set lever at idle.
(2) Rotate pump at 195 rpm.
(3) Apply vacuum pressure 76.0 to 80.0 kpa ( – 570 to – 600mmHg) Gap
to diaphram . fig. 2
(4) Confirm lever operation and non-injection (Rw measurement).
7 . Positive pressure must drop from 133.3kPa (1000mmHg) to 130.7kPa
(980mmHg) in more than 10 seconds.
8 . Sealing the Boost Compensator Interior Lever VH measurement
Fully loosen the full-load stopper at a pump speed of 1250 rpm and (R47.0 mm)
pressure of 93.3kPa (700mmHg), and use the boost compensator
stopper to check that rack travel is RW = (Rw4 + 0.70) ± 0.30.
Then, use the full load stopper to return the rack position to Rw 4.
9 . DAC adjusting
(1) Rack travel must be Rw = 15.2 ± 0.2 and delivery quantity
158.5 ± 3.0 mm3/st (31.7 ± 0.6 cc/200st) when the pump speed
is 1250 rpm with applied absolute pressure at 93.9 kPa (704 mmHg). fig. 3
(2) Rack travel must be Rw = 13.6 ± 0.2 when the pump speed
is 1250 rpm with applied absolute pressure at 61.6kPa (462 mmHg).
(3) After checking (1) and (2), the gap should be 0.2 mm or more.
