PROPOSAL TEMPLATE

1. Name of Project
The use of robotic devices for sanitizing, disinfection and cleaning

2. Executive Summary
In the real estate industry specifically in facilities management, facility image and
productivity is the top priority for facility managers. Cleaning automation is an obvious and
ideal area for technology adoption as cleaning is among one of the largest costs in building
management, primarily arising from the shortage of labour and increasing labour cost.
Moreover, the repetitive and manual tasks in cleaning are ideal reasons for tech adoption.
Cleaning automation will add value to facilities management in the following ways; -

 Completeness - Poor janitorial service is among the highest complaints from office

workers. As a facility manager, it’s hard to get proof about what parts of the cleaning job
were done. Cleaning automation can not only ensure the job gets done consistently, but
the devices can also prove it with data.
 Quality - One of the promises of cleaning automation is standardization. Robotic devices
like autonomous vacuum sweepers eliminate human error and will do the job to
completion every time. This translates to happier tenants, which can impact retention
and the bottom line.

The Future Is Now

Property managers are in the best position to identify efficiencies and make
strategic decisions about a building. And now with technology and data, those
decisions can be well informed and not driven by guesses and intuition.

As you begin to take into consideration how automation can make your buildings
run smoother, look for vendors that adopt technology and deliver the reports you
need. Commercial cleaners, for example, are increasingly looking to demonstrate
performance — and cleaning automation is one way they are delivering it.

Whiz from SoftBank Robotics captures the cleaning performance data more
reliably and repeatedly than checklists and human observation. Finally: building
owners and property managers can get the holistic data they need. The future is
now, with Whiz.

A. PROJECT DETAILS

5. Project Background

Current industry has insufficient information to analysis about the traffic patterns which
can include tenants, visitors, pick-up/drop-off vehicles, and vehicles going through the
park as part of their driving route. Without understanding the traffic ecosystem, land
developer/government authorities are unable to implement correct measures or policies
to improve wellbeing of traffic ecosystem.

6. Project Objectives

A clear overview and analysis of carpark patterns in science park 1 with technologies
such as smart magnetic sensor, to pick up information carpark lots availability and with
further analysis, to come up with data such as carpark drivers’ patterns to aid better
carpark management system.

7. Project Description

Smart Carpark solution will deliver real time information about the carpark lots
availability, and then guide drivers to slots that are available. With enough data and
analysis, we will be able to understand the carpark ecosystem and to guide driver
efficiently.
7.1 Technical and Functional Features to be Implemented
of the potential market size and customer base, and how the Project will enable the Participants
to increase their edge over their competitors and capture greater market share, and estimate the
market share that will potentially be captured.

8. Implementation and Scale-up Plans

Describe the development, implementation and support strategy and plans of the Consortium to
ensure scalability to other users and sustainability of the Project within the project period.
Describe any plans to export the solutions developed in this Project to other markets and
estimate the potential export revenue.

Describe the long term implementation plans of the organisation AFTER the completion of this
Project to ensure long-term survivability and sustainability of the content and services developed
in this Project. For example, roll-out to entire organisation/subsidiaries and link-up with other
business partners along the supply chain, or within the industries.

9. Critical Success Factors

Describe the factors that may affect the success of the Project and the measures the Consortium
intends to take to manage the risk.

12. Qualitative Outcomes

Describe any qualitative outcomes or benefits to the Participants resulting from the Project.

13. Quantitative Outcome Indicators

State the relevant quantitative outcome indicators for the Project such as the cost savings in
reduction of labour, response time to customers, amount of goods movement data captured,
number of jobs created, etc. Provide an estimate of any long-term performance targets
related to the Project that falls outside the Project period. Examples include number of
organisations/users along the value chain linked up, cost savings realised when the system is
rolled-out to the rest of the organisation and/or particular sector, potential revenue increase
due to new capabilities developed, or any patents targeted to be filed.
