Explain your students the different tools . Show them how to clamp the tools into
the tool-holder and how to mount the toolholders onto the tool magazine.

Clamping tools into toolholder

Note: The distance from the tool mount reference point to the tool point (ZNP)
must be maximal 49 mm - otherwise danger of collision when swivelling.

Turn clamping screws (1) until the

toolholder can be inserted.

Turn clamping screws back again.

The holder is now mounted (with a small

necessary clearence).

Let the students mount the other tools

according to the tool data sheet

5. Taking and input of tool data

Taking the tool data means to take the tool length compensation (ZNP)
value = distance from the tool mount reference point (N - TO) to the tool point (P)
and the tool radius compensation value (R).

5.1 Taking the tool length compensation value with the dial gauge and the
direct take over of this value
61
Show your students how to take tool data.

the two values is the tool
compensation
Direct take over of tool data to
the tool data memory in register
(= line) 1 under Z address.

The students should take further tool data of the different tools and should
complete the tool data memory

5.3 Zero point shift - Position Shift Offset (PSO)

By the zero point shift the zero

point (XO/Y0/ZO) moves from the
machine zero point (M) to the
workpiece zero point (W).

In the position shift offset 5

different values (registers) divided
in two groups can be stored.

Discuss the shifting and how to

determine the offset values first by
slide and then at the machine.

What happens when shifting?

G54 or G55: Shifting from the

machine zero point to W1

G53: Deselect G54 or G55

G57, G58, G59: Shifting from

W1, to the work-piece zero point
(W2).

101-73 = 28 mm (ZMW1)
This value can also determinated with a micrometer before mounting the machine
vice.

5.3.2 Input of the determined offset values

Show your students how to put in the determined values.

Call EDIT Mode

Call PSO registers

Select register 1 - G54

Delete old X value also zero
Input of XMW1 value

5.3.3 Determining of offset values from W1 to W2 (incremental zero point

shift)

65
The distance depends on workpiece and spacers
and must be determined according to drawing.
Remark: Take into account a possible oversize
of the unmachined part.

Example 1:
X= 0
Y= 0
Z= 30

Example 2:
X = 90
Y = -50
Z = 30

The offset values can be put in and activated in

different ways.
One possiblity:
N0000 G54
N0010 G92 X... Y… Z...
N0020 G59
Zero point shift to W1 Input of zero offset values

1. Machine Zero Point M

The machine zero point M is situated at the face side

of the main spindle. The machine zero point is the
origin of the axis system. Axis system is right hand
rotating coordinates system.

2. Tool Mount Reference Point N:

N is on the borehole's axis at the face side of the tool

turret. From this point on the tools are measured. If no
tools are active and if the machine zero point is not
offset the screen shows the measures ZMN and Ø
XMN.

95
2.3 Titik Nol Benda Kerja:

Pembatas perangkat lunak ditempatkan lebih-kurang 0.5 mm sebelum pembatas
mekanik.

menayangkan "melampaui batas target".
Dalam jarak antara ini, ke cepatan pemakanan

untuk Bit 1 = 2), sehingga status kontrol
akan dapat menyimpan hasil penyentuhan
seta ra langsung.
2. Pasang sebuah benda kerja dengan diameter
dan panjang yang telah diketahui.

Penyimpanan Data Koreksi Alat Potong:

1. Sentuhkan untuk arah X

2. Masukkan Diameter benda kerja

Nilai X dari alat potong didaftarkan

3. Sentuhkan alat potong ke permukaaan ujung

benda kerja (arah Z).

, masukkan nilai Z,
nilai Z ini dihitung berdasarkan titik nol aktif.

Nilai Z dari alat potong didaftarkan.

4. Masukkan nomor alat potong

Nilai-nilai X dan Z dari alat potong

didaftarkan dalam nomor koreksi 01.

4.3 Pendaftaran Data Koreksi Alat Potong dengan Menggunakan Pencek

Optik

Pemasangan Pencek Optik:

Kencangkan pendukunq (1) dengan
pengikat (2). Pendukung harus
terpasang tepat sesumbu dengan bahu
baut (3), sehingga apabila anda inqin
memasang optik kembali, maka posisi
optik akan tetap terjamin sama.

100
Jarak antara tabung optik dengan
sumbu mesin (puncak mata alat
potong) adalah kira-kira 80 mm.

4.3.1 Menghitung Selisih Hasil Pengukuran Puncak Mata Alat

Potong ke Titik N
Fungsi tabel :
1. Pasang alat pencek pada lubang alat
potong dalam yang terdapat pada turet.
Alat pencek ini diperlukan karena anda
tidak dapat melihat titik N melalui
optik. Gerakkan alat pencek, hingga
sudut alat pencek tersebut berada pada
titik sumbu optik. Masukkan nilai X =
20.265 mm dan Z = 116.250 - 20 mm=
96.250 ke dalam tabel.
Catatan :
Sistim optik adalah dengan
pemantulan, sehingga yang terlihat
melalui optik adalah merupakan
kebalikan posisi yang sebenarnya.

2. Pasang alat potong,

gerakkan puncak mata alat
potong ke salib sumbu
optik. Masukkan nilai
tayangan pada tabel. Data
alat potong adalah selisih
ukuran N dan T.
XN−XT
X=
Nilai 2
20 . 265−(+35 . 035)
= =−7 .385
2
Nilai Z = ZN-ZT =

101
96.250 – (+ 98.597) = - 2,257
4.3.2 Pemindahan Titik Nol pada Salib Sumbu Optik

Contoh :
- Gerakkan turet arah memanjang mesin,
sehingga alat pencek berada tepat pada
titik salib sumbu.
- Masukkan nilai tertayang ke dalam daftar
PSO : X = 20.256 ; Z = 116.250 - 20 =
96.250

- Cara berikut ini adalah untuk

memindahkan titik nol :

Pintu harus tertutup, kalau tidak akan

alaram. Tayangan : X= 0 dan Z= 0, apabila
titik N berada tepat pada titik salib sumbu.
- Gerakkan alat potong ke salib sumbu
optik.
ØX = setengah dari nilai yang sebenarnya
Z = pernbacaan langsung
Catatan :
Hasil pantulan kedudukan alat potong adalah
merupakan kebalikan posisi yang sebenarnya.

4.3.3 Pemindahan Titik Nol pada Salib Sumbu Optik dan Penggantian
Monitor Pemakai untuk Pemprograman berdasarkan Radius Benda
Kerja

Penyetelan pada Monitor Pemakai :

Parameter 011 Bit 0 TINGGI (Nilai 1) : adalah Pemrograman

berdasarkan diameterd benda kerja. Sedangkan Parameter 011 Bit RENDAH
(Nilai 0) : adalah Pemrograman berdasarkan radius benda kerja. Kemudian,
anda dapat (jika anda melaksanakan prose dur sama seperti butir 4.3.2) membaca
langsung nilai-X Pantulan kedudukan posisi alat potong, harus merupa kan
kebalikan dari posisi yang sebenarnya.
4.3.4 Pendaftaran Langsung Data Alat Potong ke dalam memori

102

1. Pendaftaran posisi alat pencek berdasarkan salib sumbu

optik.

Gerakkan turet arah memanjang mesin, sehingga sudut alat

gambar

Komputer mengetahui titik N melalui salib sumbu optik.

2. Pendaftaran data alat potong
Gerakkan alat potong, sehingga berada tepat pada salib
sumbu.

Mis. : T01, nomor koreksi 01
Apabila perlu, perbaikilah data nilai X dengan cara biasa.
Penggagalan : RESET
