GOALS OF THE COLLEGE OF HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY MANAGEMENT:


1. Production of academically competent, morally upright individuals with entrepreneurial skills;
2. Development of sustainable community-based livelihood;
3. Strong partnership with hospitality and food industry.

OBJECTIVES OF THE BACHELOR OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT:


1. To provide broad academic and technological background to prepare students for managing the challenges
or living and working in a diverse global society
2. To provide students intensive training and wider exposure to a variety of relevant activities to develop
desirable ethics and entrepreneurial skills making them confident to assume managerial/leadership roles in
their respective fields of specialization;
3. To raise manpower technical capability of the institute to generate viable livelihood technologies;
4. To strengthen the function- based technical support and facilities for the promotion of sustainable
community-based technologies; and
5. To establish linkages with hospitality and food service providers for resources sharing the greater
Opportunities for more collaborative endeavors.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES


Graduates of the BSHM are office professionals who:
1. The graduates are able to analyze situations, identify problems, formulates solutions and implements
corrective and/ or mitigating measures and action. (COGNITIVE)
2. The graduates undertake task, functions, duties and activities in the operation of the hotels, restaurants,
travel, government and non-government agencies in accordance with the competency standards.

3. The graduates are able to perform work activities effectively to the standards expected in the operation
required in the Tourism Industry/ hospitality sector. (PSYCHOMOTOR SKILLS)

Learning Outcomes At the end of the semester, the students should be able to:
