After every elections the President of United States of America takes oath and the oath is always taken on 20th of January at 12 noon; the day
and time are fixed, no muhurat is taken out for the same. This year 2017 Donald Trump a republican won the elections against Hilary Clinton, he
won by a clear margin in electoral votes, though he fell short by three lakh popular votes.

Normally navami is not a good tithi for oath taking but an American President can’t help it, the day for their oath is already fixed. According to
Hindu tradition, the lagna taken would have been different. We are confining ourselves only to the analysis of the oath taking chart.

Nine lakh people got together to see their President take oath. In the beginning of the program, they quoted from the Bible, the
responsibilities of the President. The Chief Justice of the Supreme court first made the Vice President Michael Richard Pens take oath, why the
Vice President takes oath first and not the President, well only they can tell. Then came Donald Trump to take the oath and he has become the
45th President of USA, once again the White House has a Republican President after George Bush.

Just five hours before the oath taking, few of us were sitting with our mentor Respected Sh. KN Rao discussing the oath taking horoscope and
after the swearing in ceremony, we again sat down to see how effectively the intent of the new President is revealed in the oath taking chart.

While we had already discussed and written it on the evening of 23 Jan 2017, Trump warned the corporate leaders to bring back manufacturing
jobs or face punishing tariff and penalties, says NEW YORK TIMES. If this really happens, countries to suffer will be Mexico, China and India, in
that order. This will involve big companies like Ford, General Motors etc.

He pulled out of the Trance-Pacific partnership which was actually devised by former President Obama. He had also taken a decision not to give
any financial aid to health providers abroad who offer counselling on abortion. He has already taken some decisions before our article gets
posted.

As the day and time is fixed, it is always a Mesha lagna horoscope of 20 plus degrees.

I. ABOUT THE LAGNA LORD

Lagna lord Mars is placed in the 12th house aspecting the 9th lord Jupiter placed in the 6th house, when there is an exchange of the 6th
and the 9th lord. Clearly three meanings come up-

1) The 6th house is the house of health and may bring some changes in the country regarding the same. Donald Trump has passed orders to
make modifications in Obama care, just few minutes after taking the oath.

2) He has shown his intent to fight Islamic terrorism and root it out. There is an exchange of the 9th and 6th lords; the 9th lord of religion
Jupiter is placed in the 6th house of aggression where it is aspected by Mars from the 12th house. USA under Trump will have to get into many
fights with Islamic terrorism groups, which are all over the world, some 54 countries have these groups, so how many countries to fight

with. The lagna lord placed in the 12th house (as the 8th lord also) definitely
shows the strain that the country will need to face in some way or the other,
like lots of expense etc.

3) Mars placement in the 12th house as the 8th lord aspecting both, the 9th lord in
6th house and the Moon in the seventh house clearly shows that it will not hesitate
to fight territorial wars with the other countries.

4) The exchange of the 6th and the 9th lord also shows some controversial
decisions involving judiciary. It is very important for the government to see if the
Supreme court is in its favour or not. Out of the nine judges, Republicans need five
judges for the smooth sailing. At present only four are pro republicans, one of the
vacancy needs to be filled, which shall be filled very soon.Asignificant change in
judiciary to favour Republican decisions is in the offing now.

II. THE HOUSES OF WEALTH

Another noticeable feature is the placement of the 2nd lord Venus in the 11th house with Ketu and the placement of the 11th lord Saturn in the
8th house aspecting the 2nd house.

1) The wealth houses strong means the economy will improve under him. It clearly means some bold financial decisions also. The 11th house is
legislation and its association with the houses of wealth shows some rules for the financial prosperity in USA.

In his oath speech, he did quote “BUY AMERICAN HIRE AMERICAN” and that makes his intentions clear. At present the manufacturing units are in
China and Mexico; Bringing the manufacturing units to USA is the aim.

2) The 11th lord is aspecting the 2nd house from the 8th house. Strong legislation to bring in PROTECTIONISM is the clear intent. This will
affect Mexico, China and India to some extent. He could also be levying some tax on imported goods.

In a bid to create more jobs in USA, he will try to prevent outsourcing, to the extent that it is possible. He has been repeatedly saying that in
his election speeches. In his inaugural speech also he stated “The forgotten men and women of our country will not be forgotten anymore.”
Though how much of that will be feasible we will have to wait and watch. Americans with their 9 to 5 schedule and strict weekends off need to be
paid more though Indians and Chinese are paid lesser amounts for the parallel jobs, they work more hours and are open to working on the
weekends too. So, how he creates a better work situation for the Americans we have yet to see.

III. MARS ASPECT ON THE 3rd HOUSE

Rao Sir’s research in Mundane astrology says that Presence of Mars in 3, 6 or 12H shows the probability of war.

1) Mars is aspecting the 3rd House of neighbours. Aspect of the 6th lord Mercury and Mars both show the aggressive and hostile intention
towards the border. In this case, it is clearly Mexico, against which he has uttered many things in his election speeches, calling them as rapists,
drug addicts and criminals; now with Mars aspecting the 3H, some strict action is in the offing.

In his election speeches Trump has referred to making a wall at the US-Mexico border to stop infiltration. The infiltrators have been coming in
from the San Diego tunnel and he is trying to find a way to put a stop to that finally.

IV. THE FOURTH HOUSE

The fourth house is the house of property, it shows the homeland; the 7th house is foreign country and the 12th house is again foreign. In
this oath chart, the 4th house has the aspect of Sun; the 4th lord is placed in the 7th house aspected by Mars.

1) There could be attacks on USAby the foreign countries; US embassies in other countries may be attacked. We would be not surprised if there
are attacks on the homeland too. The 8th lord Mars aspecting the 4th lord in the 7th house of war shows a plot has already been hatched, a
plan made to attack this country. Muslims whom he intends to control and curb may backfire in this manner.
We may take support from the chart of USA to confirm our findings. In 2018, the
dasha of Rahu shall start. Rahu is in the 12th house, USA will have no choice but
to be involved with the foreign countries in one way or another. Rahu in Karka
has its dispositor Moon in the 7th house of war in the house of Saturn. The war
seems unavoidable.

2) South Sea China problem USA will not hesitate in meddling in this area.

3) Mars is aspecting Moon in the 7th house. The 7th house is the house of foreign
policy. The 4th lord placed therein aspected by Mars suggests strong action against
the immigrants. He has already invoked a strong unhappy reaction, especially for
Pakistan by his statement - “For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry; subsidized the
armies of other countries, while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military. We’ve defended other
nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own.And spent trillions and trillions of dollars overseas
while America’s infrastructure has fallen into
disrepair and decay. We’ve made other countries rich, while the wealth, strength and confidence of our
country has dissipated over the horizon.”

VII. THE FIFTH HOUSE

Both the 5th house and the 5th lord Sun are aspected by Saturn and that also from the 8th house. Saturn is the 11th lord of legislation,
so there may be a law related to the 5th house.

1) There may some education policy undergoing a change. That policy could be unorthodox.

2) With the Republican President in USA once again, there may be a change in the abortion law once again. The 5th house has Rahu aspected
by Saturn.

George Bush had brought about the anti-abortion law, Obama had reversed it, now with a Republican President again, the law may undergo a
change again.

Court. On 22 Jan 1973, the Court ruled 7-2, in favor of Roe, the right to privacy to a woman to undergo abortion but restricted it in part for
the third trimester of pregnancy. The court deemed abortion a fundamental right under the United States Constitution, thereby
subjecting all laws attempting to restrict it to the standard of strict scrutiny.

V. MERCURY IN THE 9th House

1) Mercury is the 6th lord in the 9th house, some fight, some war based on religion is in the offing.

2) Mercury has the lordship of the 3H of neighbors, 6H of border and it is placed in the 9H of law implying that there will be an attempt to get
passed a law against the neighbors entering the country which may be challenged in the court of law. Promise made by Trump to deport the
illegal immigrants will be carried out for sure. The ninth lord is involved, so the Muslims are going back.

VI. THE TENTH HOUSE

The tenth lord in the 8th house is not giving a happy indication for Trump.

1) For one, his health may be affected. Saturn is in the 8th house aspecting the 5th lord and the 5th house, in this case dignitaries are involved
including the President; some of them may face ill-health and even death.

2) Moreover there may also be a threat of impeachment against him.

3) As 11th lord aspecting the 2H, there may be some legislation to raise money which could be unpleasant.

Few most striking features of the oath horoscope this year are—

1) Placement of Mars in the 12th house aspecting Jupiter in the 6th house and Moon in the 7th house.

2) Saturn in the 8th house aspecting the 5th house and the 5th lord Sun.

As a result we insist on saying that however much President Trump may attempt to isolate USA from entangling with the other countries, it
doesn’t seem likely that he will succeed; rather he may be at the risk of facing impeachment.

Indian IT industry will have to think of new avenues as the policies of Trump will definitely affect it badly. It looks like an isolated USA
almost going back to the days of Monroe Doctrine.
