    The researcher would first like to thank the lord for giving the researcher the strength to carry out this
    research. Also, she would like to thank her teacher Miss Paris for assisting her where necessary. The
    researcher’s school mates and her parents for helping her completing this school-based assessment.
    Introduction

    The researchers chose the project title abuse because it’s a common thing around the world. The
    researchers subtitle is sexual abuse which very common thing in her neighborhood and around the
    world. What is sexual abuse? sexual abuse, also referred to as molestation is abusive sexual behavior by
    one person upon another. This school-based assessment is based on abuse and you will learn some
    effects and types of sexual abuse.
    Effects of sexual abuse
    3 things I hope to find out about my topic.

    1. What is sexual abuse?


    Sexual abuse, also referred to as molestation, is abusive sexual behavior by one person upon
    another. It is often perpetrated using force or by taking advantage of another.

    2. Effects of sexual abuse


    Sexual violence can have psychological, emotional, and physical effects on a survivor. Some
    effects of sexual abuse are:
     Depression
     Flashbacks
     Self-harm
     Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI)
     Pregnancy
     Suicide

    3. Types of sexual
     Sexual assault
     Child sexual abuse
     Sexual assault of men and boys
     Intimate
     Incest
     Drug-facilitated sexual assault
    Plan of investigation

    The researcher’s group chose the topic abuse and the researchers subtopic is sexual abuse. The
    researcher chose this topic because reports of sexual abuse are on the increase in our society. As an
    English student, the benefit to me will be learning how to summarize my writing and persuasive
    speaking. Research will be conducted via the internet and textbooks. A poem, picture and video will be
    used to present data which are based on sexual abuse summary writing will be used in my reflections
    and written reports, while persuasive speaking will be used in my oral presentation.
    Reflection #1

    The first piece of article that the researcher had found was a picture downloaded from the internet. It
    shows some persons who has been sexually abused. The second piece of article is a poem which speaks
    about some who has been sexually abused how it affected her in a big way. the name of the poem is
    stolen innocence written by Kristelle Taylor. The piece of article that researcher have found was a video
    that was a video that was download.it speaks about sexual violence in general, also explaining in detail
    the effects it has on victims.
