    1 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
    1.1 The load to be lifted should never exceed the rated capacity of the jack.
    1.2 Never operate the jack beyond the maximum stroke indicated in the label.
    1.3 Ensure that correct air pressure is maintained and nor exceeded.
    1.4 Keep air hose away from heat and sharp edges.
    1.5 The jack should be positioned on a solid, firm and horizontal surface, well lit and free from unrelated materials.
    1.6 Ensure that there are no passengers in the vehicle to be lifted. Non essential persons should keep a safe distance from the
    working area. The vehicle handbrake should be engaged .Use safety stands if necessary. The jack wheels should be free to
    move.
    1.7 Position the jack under the lifting points recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
    These points should be stable and centred on the jack saddle,which will be tidy and
    free from grease or oil. Any off-centred load may cause damage.
    1.8 During lifting and lowering operations all possible precautions should be taken to
    avoid unexpected movement of the vehicle load. 1
    1.8 The jack should be used so as to avoid the operator from having to engage any part of
    the body under the vehicle. No operation should be carried out underneath a vehicle
    without using before safety stands or other mechanical supports.
    1.9 The jack is a lifting device and should never be used to move the vehicle.
    1.10 As an additional safety measure, this jack is fitted with an overload valve, factory set. A
    This valve should never be tampered with.
    1.11 If these basic rules are not followed, injury to the user, the jack or the load being lifted
    may result.

    2 USE AND OPERATION
    2.1 Before operating the jack, remove the base cover nº1, take away the zinc-coated rod
    “A” and connect the blue plastic tube which comes disconnected from factory ( fig.1).
    Place the handle in position nº4, screw bolt nº80 and insert the floor stop nº 83
    (included in a kit ) under the upper side of the handle plate (fig.2).
    Replace the base cover nº 1.
    2.2 The handle locks in four different positions: 1. Collapsible for
    transport/packing.- 2.Out-service/storage position.- 3.Displacement.-
    4. Working or horizontal position (fig.2). 2
    2.3 These positions are achieved by disengaging the trigger lever nº 1
    (fig.3). 3
    2.3 Before connecting the jack to the air supply the control lever nº2
    should be in the “OFF” position. The connection to the air supply
    should be always done with a hose of the same section as that of
    connector nº3( fig.3)

    2.4 To get the best performance from this jack, the recommended air
    pressure is 100-145 psi / 7-10 bar; and the required air flow: 9.5 cfm
    /270 l/min
    2.5 An air filter-lubricator unit should be used (fig.4). Drain the air tank
    daily.Water in the air line will damage the jack.
    2.6 Before using the jack, purge the hydraulic circuit to eliminate any
    possible air that may have entered the system during transit. Push
    and keep the control lever nº2 (fig 3) to the DOWN “C” position for
    some seconds. Push the control lever to the UP “B” position to effect
    a complete lifting cycle. Push again the control lever to the DOWN
    position to retract the jack pistons. Check that the lowering of the
    pistons is steady without irregular stops (stick-slip). If they are
    occurring, repeat complete cycles until the pistons retract in a regular
    way. This will show that the air elimination has been completed.
    3 MAINTENANCE Fig. 2
    3.1 Before performing any maintenance disconnect the jack from the air
    supply.
    3.2 Clean and lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals. Always keep
    the jack clean and protected from aggressive conditions.
    3.3 Check the oil level with the pistons of the jack completely retracted.
    The correct oil level will be between the two marks of the rod nº84. Refill if
    necessary up to the volume indicated in the chart.
    IMPORTANT: An excess of oil will render the jack inoperative
    Use only hydraulic oil, HL or HM type, with an ISO grade of cinematic
    viscosity of 22 cSt at 40ºC or of an Engler viscosity of 2,4 at 50ºC.
    VERY IMPORTANT: Never use brake fluid.
    3.4 After use, keep the jack stored with the pistons completely retracted.
    3.5 Use always original parts. Using non-original components could damage
    the jack and will invalidate the warranty.
    3.6 When ordering spare parts, please state the reference indicated in the
    chart. A repair kits is available containing all the common spare parts.
    4 REPAIR
    Both maintenance and repair of this jack will only be carried out by qualified
    persons who, on base of their education and experience, have enough Fig. 3
