FLORES, RICK ALLEN M.

BSA – 1A
NSTP 2
1. In your community, how will you promote a recycling project? Explain what is meant by
“May Pera sa Basura”. Why is there a need to recycle?
- In my community, I can promote a recycling project by first providing the local
leaders the option to recycling in the community. By creating awareness to the
people in my local area about the benefits of a recycling project. By adding
recycling bins around the neighborhood, adding recycling containers around your
local area is a simple method to get individuals to appropriately recycle without
making a special effort. Regular areas like parks, walkways and transport stops
are altogether extraordinary spots to put recycling canisters, as these are no doubt
probably the busiest territories locally. And of course, in this generation of
technology, I can promote a recycling project by using social media platforms.
You can utilize your local area's web-based media pages to post about recycling,
like statistics, insights, and some other supportive data. These days nearly
everybody is via web-based media, so this is an incredible method to contact a
wide crowd and begin having an effect in your area.

- “May Pera sa Basura” is a phrase that imposes that in our trash, there is money
that we can get. Example is that we sell our wastes to the junk shop and we get
money from it, this encourages the community to segregate and be responsible
with their own waste so that they can benefit into it. Another is recycling wastes
like plastic bottles and turning them into art which can be used as a display or can
be sold to the market.

- Recycling is not difficult to do and truly can have an effect. Recycling monitors
assets, at the point when we recycle, materials are changed over into new items,
decreasing the need to devour regular assets which will assist with ensuring
characteristic natural surroundings for what's to come. Recycling saves energy,
utilizing recycle materials in the assembling cycle utilizes extensively less energy
than that needed for delivering new items from crude materials. Recycling ensures
the climate, recycling decreases the requirement for removing, refining and
preparing crude materials all of which make air and water contamination. As
recycling saves energy, it additionally decreases ozone harming substance
outflows, which assists with handling environmental change. At last, Recycling
lessens landfill. At the point when we recycle, recyclable materials are
reprocessed into new items, and accordingly the measure of trash shipped off
landfill locales diminishes which lessens discharges of methane, an incredible
ozone depleting substance.
2. What is your role as a CWTS student in undertaking and promoting the University’s
“Clean and Green Project”?
- The job, role or duty of an understudy as a CWTS student is to advance and to
promote clean and green exercises so individuals will realize that how generally
will be mindful in tossing their trash in the privilege place. I likewise infer that
public and non-public schools should have a program called "basura mo sagot
mo" in this basis, the understudies will know about tossing their trash in the right
trash cans through the process of segregation. In regards to that assertion, the
public authority should put a "nabubulok,di-nabubulok" taking all things together
roads all around the Philippines if conceivable.

3. How will you implement a Green Philippine Program? Select one suggested activity and
make a proposal on how it can be implemented at the school and community levels.
- If I had to select a Green Philippine program or activity to be implemented, I’d
choose a coastal cleanup or a beach cleanup. For the implementation to be
successful, gather up teams or groups affiliated with this kind of programs to
promote and spread the news that there will be a coastal cleanup, and that anyone
can volunteer. Contact everyone you want to take part. To help boost numbers,
make it compulsory for all staff to participate and encourage your guests, other
local businesses and community members to join in. Of course, we must be fully
prepared by also gathering equipment that will be used. The reason I chose this
program is that not many programs like this are being done, not only should land
be clean but also our marine areas since it is still part of our environment. Not
only that, people can enjoy the breeze and can later enjoy in the beach after
accomplishing such a feat.
