EXECUTIVE SUMMARY.
The B and F hotel is located two blocks from the great purpose building opposite Serena
supermarket along the Rubombo road. B and F offer 40 well equipped bedrooms underground
packing, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, good restaurant, bar. Swimming pool gym
and sauna. Each year over 5000 nature lovers visit Band F hotel and on average guests spend
over UGX 2b annually for accommodation, food and recreational activities.
Mostly the B and F hotel has many guests in the months of December, January and April because
of the festive seasons and the long holidays like Easter breaks. This means that more sales are
made during these months.

The charm and solitude of b and f hotel is secluded setting is found just 60 miles away from
Entebbe airport.
Products
B and f hotel will offer customers 40 well equipped bedrooms, fully equiped kitchen, laundry
facilities, good restaurant, bar, gym and sauna plus a swimming pool.
Hotel development and operation in the great valley area has been profitable and successful due
to the economic upturn experienced in the mid and late 90s. in the past two years, sales of time
shares in the great valley area have increased by over 35%. There are 20 more hotels inns and
lodges with in two miles of the hotel. Each year room occupancy is close to 90%. New
construction is planned in the spring for two condo complexes and a hotel.
Market plan
The b and f hotel has its own website and advertising/ promotion program that promotes the
areas accommodation. Current 70% of the areas guests use the website to identify
accommodation and service options. The b and f resort hotel is positioned as the new upscale
facility that is focused on the high income visitors. The b and f hotel will also offer a promotion
in the months of May, June, August to increase on the sales since these months usually have the
lowest number of guests coming to b and f hotel.
Competition
There are over 10 hotels and resorts around the great valley. They have over 20 rooms each.
They offer the same services of accommodation, food and beverage, parking among others
similar to those of b and f hotel. However b and f has strength of a relatively big number of
rooms which are well equipped, a swimming pool which other hotels don’t have. Also the level
of hospitality at b and f hotel is outstanding which has increased the market share. This has
therefore helped b and f hotel to out compete the other hotels.
