    Operation: The NHP100 is our entry level pellet durability tester used for calculating the Pellet
    Manual Durability Index (PDI) of feed pellets by simulating pellets transportation environment
    from mill to trough.
    Pellets Tested: It can easily be transported between locations to provide spot checks, requiring only
    Feed to be placed on a flat stable surface.
    Fitted with a standard 2.5mm diameter perforated hopper, the NHP100 is ideal for
    Sample Amount testing 3-12mm diameter pellets. Other size mesh hoppers are available ranging
    Required: from 1.25mm to 4mm.

    Pellet Durability Tester

    The Holmen Pellet Durability Test is a form of testing that is recognised worldwide.
    Four models are available in the range, providing a solution for any mill or facility.

    The Holmen Test


     Pellets are placed into a perforated mesh hopper.
    Mesh pellet
     Air is blown into the bottom of the hopper at 70mBar,

    NHP100 - Test Method


     Operator manually sieves and weighs a sample of
    pellets
     Pellets are added to the test chamber and a
    particulate filter is placed on top
     Pellets are tested for between 30 and 120 seconds
     Operator removes the filter and tested pellets
     Operator weighs the pellets and manually
    calculates the PDI result
     Operator cleans test chamber of fines
