Austrian Agency (Embassy or Consulate located in the applicant’s home country), to
then be submitted to the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy
for consideration and review. Scholarships are awarded in only very few cases and
only under certain conditions and circumstances. Austrian students can get information
on scholarships and grants at the Study Grant Authority.
To legally enter Austria, international students who are not EU or EEA citizens will
require a valid visa. Moreover, these students will need to apply for a residence permit.
