*The physical constants stated are nominal data according to the Hempel Group's approved formulas.
They are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances and where stated, being standard deviation
according to ISO 3534-1.
**The theoretical spreading rate has been calculated for the stated volume solids and dry film thickness. A
practical spreading rate will depend on the actual dry film thickness, the nature of the substrate and
relevant consumption factor. The physical constants are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.

Product Data Sheet
Hempafloor Self-level 200
Mix: 35834 Base: 35836. Curing Agent: 97814. Silica: 675ME.
(Formerly known as Strata Epoxy SL 2000)

Safety: Handle with care. Before and during use, observe all safety labels on packaging and paint
containers, consult Hempel Material Safety Data Sheets and follow all local or national safety
regulations. Avoid inhalation, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and do not swallow. Take
precautions against possible risks of fire or explosions as well as protection of the
environment. Apply only in well ventilated areas.

Substrates: Concrete.

Application conditions: Use only where application and drying can proceed at temperatures above 5°C, preferably
above 10°C and relative humidity is below 75%. Other sealer/filler types may be specified.
Drying data given is on the assumption that proper ventilation is provided. Hempafloor Self-
level 200 should not be applied to concrete which contains more than 4% moisture.

Surface preparation: The surface should be stable, firm, dry and free from dust, sand, loose old paint, laitance, dirt,
grease and oil. Proper surface preparation is a must, mechanical surface preparation is highly
recommended.

Sealing/Priming: Hempafloor Prime 420 or Hempafloor Prime 100.

Filling: Hempafloor Fill 200. Recommendation: apply primer/sealer prior to the application of a
specified filler.

Mixing: Hempafloor Self-level 200 is a three component product, all components must be mixed
together before use. Stir the base (Part A) and continue stirring whilst adding all the contents of
the Curing agent (Part B) and mix until homogeneous. Then add the total contents of the silica
aggregates bag (Part C) while mixing. Mix all component 2-3 minutes till it reach a
homogeneous mixture. The use of a mechanical mixer is a must. No part mixing.

Application: 1. Pour the mixed Hempafloor Self-level 200 material onto the primed and sealed surface
and spread to the required thickness using a pin screed or notched trowel.
2. Immediately after laying the material to the required level, the applied material should be
rolled with a spiked roller to remove slight trowel marks, and to assist air release.
3. The rolling should be carried out using a ‘back and forth’ technique along the same path.
4. The rolling process should continue for a minimum of 5 times on the same path until all air
is released and a uniform colour is obtained, but it should be prior to setting of the product.
5. Operators should always wear a spiked shoes during the application to be able walk in the
wet material.

Storage & handling: Product must be stored as per local regulation. Keep in dry and ventilated location, far from
heat and direct sunlight.

Shelf-life: 12 months from date of production.

Remarks: Epoxy Epoxy coatings will yellow, chalk and lose gloss over a period of time when exposed to
direct or diffused sunlight. Yellowing is a surface phenomenon attributed to the chemical nature
of the resin with natural darkening. Degree of yellowing can vary from product to product but is
generally more obvious in pale shades. This has no influence on the function and performance
of the coating. For UV protection, we suggest you to apply a top coat of Hempafloor Durable
300 or consult Hempel for more suitable options.
