    Functions of Air Freight Forwarders

    First, Air Freight Forwarders are organizations offering air services transport of merchants'
    goods. Air freight forwarders cover large market of traders everywhere.  Air freight forwarders
    promote the industry through performance of duties of air freight forwarders. The air freight
    forwarders follow the standards and ethical aspects concerned with commerce by different air
    freight forwarders. Second, Air freight forwarders work in cooperation to maintain good
    services. Air freight forwarders observe good partnership among fellow air freight forwarders
    here and overseas.  Associations of air freight forwarders that collectively create the industry of
    air freight forwarders Third, Domestic Air Freight Forwarders assist traders in a certain country
    only. Domestic air freight forwarders process the shipment of goods. Domestic air freight
    forwarders guarantee that air freight industry's laws and legal processes are not breached. 
    Domestic air freight forwarders ensure the quality of services so that customer satisfaction is
    observed. 

    Fourth, Domestic air freight forwarders necessitate requirements with traders' goods.  Local air
    freight forwarders need to check the goods.  Air forwarders are expected to clear up legal
    documents before shipping. Fifth, International Air Freight Forwarders have a larger scope or
    market of exporters.  The international air freight forwarders manage air freight commerce and
    work with other air freight forwarders. Sixth, International air freight forwarders guarantee strict
    compliance with the law of the other countries. International air freight forwarders are third party
    negotiators that know the transportation rules and regulations..

    Seventh, International air freight forwarders take responsibility in checking necessary


    documents.  The international air freight forwarders adhere to the laws of the IATA.
    International air freight forwarders notify the traders after shipment.  The international air freight
    forwarders may consult overseas custom brokers to cross-examine documents. Last, Air freight
    forwarders work hand in hand with the other air freight forwarders.  Air freight forwarders
    preserve the trade and commerce in air freight so that all the air freight forwarders can deliver
    their functions properly for the benefit of the traders and the firms in line with this business.
