COURSE OUTCOMES At the end of the semester, the students must have:

2. applied the elements and principles of design in clothing construction;
3. mastered the skills and competencies in pattern drafting, lay-outing, cutting, and assembling of garments; and
4. deepened their understanding on the different ways in caring clothes.

COURSE POLICIES Students enrolled in this course are expected to observe the following rules:
Attendance
Students are not allowed to have 20% or more absences of the total class hours; otherwise, they will be graded as follows:

 Dropped – if majority of the excessive absences are excused.


 Failed – if majority of the excessive absences are unexcused

Classroom (Face-to-face) decorum


Students are required to:
wear their identification card, and observe proper dress code at all times;
turn off in silent mode their cellular phones during class hours;
always maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the room; and
come to class on time.

Examination/Evaluation
1. Quizzes may be announced or unannounced.
2. Long examinations are always announced.
3. Cheating is strictly prohibited. A student who is caught cheating will be given a score of zero (0) for the first offense. The next
time will deem the student an automatic failing grade.
4. Students who missed exams and quizzes may not be excused for any of the following reasons:
a. Participation is a University/College – approved activity (must be cleared one week in advance);
b. Personal illness (must present medical certificate); and death or serious illness in the immediate family (must present
death or medical certificate)
5. Observe policies under the student handbook (i. e. plagiarism and academic dishonesty).
