Greetings
Assalamualikum, Good Evening, my name is Anneke Cahya Pramesti, my class code is

KH101, and my major is Accounting.
At this moment, let me share about one book called The Hunger Games. I am
interesting with this book since i read the synopsis. The reason is this book tell about
the rich and the "unlucky" one. The unique idea, amazing adventure concept, and
sophisticated battle round have their own interest part.
Content of the book
The first book of Hunger Games Trilogy called The Hunger Games. Once upon a time
there is a tradition that had been done since 74 years called harvesting. This happen
for sacrificing and rebellion of each district. On Penem country, each district required
a pairs of teenager aged 12 - 18 years old who will be participate to the amazing
games called Hunger Games. In this game, all participant must kill each other until
one participant left. Prim Rose Everdeen and Katniss Everdeen are sisters living in
12th district. They hope not to be elected this term. The election event begins, all
teenagers from 12th district are gathered. This voting system is like a lottery program
on TV which randomly picked by the host. Prim was the choosen one and he was
shocked. When Prim is walking to the stage, surprisingly Katniss said that she will
replace Prim for the Hunger Games. She is walking to the stage. Another one
choosen was Peeta Melllark. He also walking to the stage. Both of them will go to
Capital as the representative from 12th district. Katniss and Peeta are going to Capitol
by train. At the train, they met Haymitch and give them congratulations and will be
their mentor. Katniss ask where is the safety place for their protection, however
Haymitch doesnt give the answer. Katniss is trying to bluff with a knife near his hand,
finally Haymitch give the clues "if you want to survive, you have to make the
sponsor like you". They arrived at the Capitol with its glory and luxury. On the next
day, Sponsors are attracted to Katniss because of her evaluation. Surprisingly, Katniss
got score 11 and Peeta got score 8 when the announcment of the score.
The battle begins, Peeta run at the backwards however Katnis is trying to get her
bag. After this, Katniss is almost get killed caused by falling then she run into the the
forest. When checking the goods at her bag, there was the sound of cannons which a
sign that some participant was died. Katniss was sleeping on a tree, suddenly there
was a hologram above the clouds telling the participants who had died. In this game,
the committee could manipulate every thing. On the next day, Katniss was attacked
by fire ball created by the committee, fortunately she can avoid it and fall into the
river. After that she meet Keto one of the participants. Keto want to catch and kill
Katniss. Katniss decide to climb the tree. Peeta give an advise to Keto to wait untill
Katniss go down. Rue, one of the participant who on another tree , give sign to
Katniss to cut beehive above her, bee's bite could give a halusination get burned or
event died. Kaniss was trying to cut the beehive, however she was bitten by the bee
but she finally could cut the beehive and make Keto run away from the tree.
however she wasn't strong enough and ended-up passing out for a few days. Rue
save Katniss. Rue and Katniss split up and suddenly that Rue was trapped. Rue
screamed, Katniss helped her, unfortunately Katniss didn't make it and Rue died.
Before she left Rue, she gave a three-fingers greeting in the direction of Rue's district
came from.
For your information, "three fingers" give a sign of rebellion to the power, a sign of
gratitude, admiration and farewell to the loved ones. The committee informed that
the participants could win from the same district. Katniss looks for Peeta and found
Peeta at the river. They bot ended-up hiding in the Cave.
The Sponsor sent the meals to the cave for Katniss and Peeta and it was soup.
Katniss give the soup to Peeta. There is an announcement that there is some stufsf
that will beneficial for each participants in Cornucopia . While Peeta sleeping, Katniss
goes to the Cornucopia. When she picking up the stuffs, someone throw a knife at
her. Luckily, Katniss could avoid and make her safe. When she arrive at the Cave,
Katniss give Peeta some medicines that she got from Cornucopia. On the next day,
the injury was healed and they come out from the Cave and decided to search some
food with their own way separately. Peeta found cherry, and Katniss informed that
cheery is the poison made by the Capitol. When the two of them are ready, there
were 3 mad dog that the comittee made for chasing them. They ran towards
Cornucopia and climbed up. At the top of Cornucopia, they was shocked found Keto
was already there. When Peeta and Keto were in the fight, this opportunity is taken
by Katniss to take a bow and shot the arrow. Unfortunately, Peeta is being a hostage,
Katnis didn't run out of ideas, she shoots Keto's hand and then Peeta kicks Keto. Keto
was fallen and bitten by the dog and died. At this time, Katniss and Peeta thought
the had won but he commitee suddenly changed the rules and informed that the
winner is only one participants. They both decided to eat poisonous cherry and
finally there was “STOP” sound and announced their both are the winner.
Conclusion :
Dont be affraid of a group of people who suppress us since karma will takes effect
sooner or later.
Closing :
Thats all, thank you.

Synopsis :
Twenty-four participants.
Only one winner survived.
North America is wiped out already. Now in its former place stands the state of
Panem, with the Capitol as the city center surrounded by twelve districts. Katniss, a
16-year-old girl, lives with her sister and mother in the poorest district of District 12.
Due to past rebellions against the Capitol, each year each district has to send a girl
and a boy to fight and is shown live on the television show he Hunger Games. There
is only one winner each year. The goal is kill or be killed. When her younger sister
was selected for The Hunger Games, Katniss volunteered to take her place. And so
began the battle the Capitol will never forget.
