I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
1. differentiate what is Factual and Subjective
2. Read analytically to distinguish differences between Factual and Subjective Statements
3. Develop awareness on the impact of social media
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American literature and other text types serve as means of connecting to the world; also how to use factual
information and subjective content in language
B. Performance Standards The learner skilfully performs varied tasks assigned to them through utilizing effective verbal and non-verbal strategies with the use of ICT resources.

The class will be divided into two groups by counting. The first group will give 10 facts and the second group will give 10 opinions. Be
sure each member of the group will contribute an answer. Groups will have a secretary to write down their answers, and a reporter to present
their work in the class. You will be given 10 minutes to do your tasks and another 3 minutes to present it. Please do your work silently, and
observe proper decorum.
Through this activity/ lesson, students will know how to properly use social media and all to identify Factual versus Subjective Content.
Through the given task, students will develop the following skills:
self-confidence
cooperativeness
communicative competence
They will also enhance the good relationship they had with their classmates during the interactions.
