JEAN PIAGET he was a Swiss psychologist from 1896-1980. Jean Piaget's theory of
cognitive development suggests that children move through four different stages of
mental development. His theory focuses not only on understanding how children acquire
knowledge, but also on understanding the nature of intelligence. He study his intraocular
development on his own three children and created a theory that describe the stages that
children pass through in the development of intelligence and formal processes. According
to his theory children were consider as a mini adults but according to this theory that the
way the children think is automatically different from the way the adults think. Cognitive
development happens through the collaboration of inborn limits and natural occasions,
and kids go through a development of stages. We can use Jean Piaget theory in over
daily life. So his theory suggested 4 stages.

1. Sensorimotor stage: birth to 2 years


2. Preoperational stage: ages 2 to 7
3. Concrete operational stage: ages 7 to 11
4. Formal operational stage: ages 12 and up

1. Sensorimotor stage:

It is the very earliest stage that start from the birth to approximately age 2. During this
early stage according to Piaget , what is right in front of them they focus on what they
seeing, doing and the thing which physically interact them and what the behavior of the
environment because they don’t yet know how things react constantly experimenting this
all. Kids find out about the world through essential activities like sucking, getting a handle
on, looking, and listening. They understand that their activities can make things occur in
their surroundings.

2. Preoperational stage:

In the 2nd stage preoperational stage that starts from 2 till 7 during this stage young
children are able to think there languages. Kids start to think graphically and figure out
how to utilize words and pictures to address objects. They also develop memory,
imagination which allow that to difference between past and future. The establishments
of language advancement may have been laid during the 1st stage, yet it is the rise of
