    1. Engineer shall check the painting scheme suggested is in line with the contract.

    2. Quantum of check shall be 100% for final inspection

    7. The inspection at manufacturers work also includes
    physical verification for compliance with PO, specs, scope, approved drawings
    and BOM.

    Dimensional checks, components checking, operation testing, etc.
    9. All routine tests shall be carried out in presence of Employer / Employer‟s
    Representative.Routine tests shall be separately listed.
    10. Visual inspection to ensure compliance with this specification shall be included

    14. Factory testing of switchgear as per IEC 62271-200/203/204/100/60694 Test at
    factory as follows but not limited to,
    a) Power frequency high voltage test as per IEC 60060 & IEC 60071
    b) DC resistance test as per IEC 60228
    c) HV test on control circuit (2kV for 1 minute.)
    d) CT/PT testing as per IEC 60044
    e) Operational & interlock test like close/trip, auto trip operation with electric
    supply( with given voltage tolerance), spring charging of motor, manual
    close/trip test shall also confirm each pole closing /opening analysis as
    well as pole discrepancy, interlock & anti pumping operation.

    15. The tests to be carried out following erection shall include but not be limited to
    the following (List the tests that can be done at site to be separated):
    a) Dielectric tests of main circuits.
    b) Continuity tests of each joint on the bus bar system to confirm adequate low
    impedance electrical continuity. These tests shall be performed with a low
    tension, high current d.c. supply and the resistance of each bus bar joint shall
    be measured with a micro ohm resistance meter.
    c) Each protection relay shall be checked for its operation against the standard
    curve by means of primary injection currents.
    d) Each circuit breaker shall be operated to prove the full correct operation of all
    features.
    e) Tightness of bus bar joint screws (using torque wrench)
    f) Relay coordination from MRS to end point, including setting of VCBs. Relays
    shall be tested at site
    g) High voltage test on panels
    h) Insulation resistance test - Megger for 1 Min with 2.5 kV. (taking value for 10
    sec & 60 sec)
    i) Mechanical operation tests
    j) Electrical operation test
    k) Verification of CT ratio and polarity of CTs
    l) Safety interlocks and protection against electric shock and short circuits
    m) Operational & interlock test for open/close operations, tripping, interlocks &
    anti-pumping.
    n) All protection CTs in substations& MRS and incomer metering CTs of MRS&
    substations shall be tested at site. Manufacturer‟s test certificates of all CTs
    shall also be furnished
