B. PRESENTATION
CID/eps/dmg
When was the last time you had an inventory of your clothes inside
your cabinet or closet? Do you still remember your favorite dress you
frequently wore when you were still a toddler or a preschooler? Why did you
like it very much? What were the features that pleased you so much? Was it
the color? The style? The pocket where you put on little things? Or was the
big ribbon at its back?
How lovely and cute those little ones when they put on their dresses
with bright colors and lively prints. Do you still have one?
In choosing the designs for the children’s wear, there are special
sewing hints that we must always remember.
Different Designs of Children’s Wear
CID/eps/dmg
So whether you are at the stage of helping kids choose their own
clothing or are buying for smaller tots, there are some areas to look out for
when deciding on the style to go for. Check out some of these handy tips to
get the most for your money.
Fabric Durability
Choosing the right fabric for the occasion is an important factor when
deciding on outfit choice. Cheap clothing might be ok for playtime, but
under the strain of excessive wear, it may lose its we arability pretty quickly.
Lighter materials are also a good option for warmer months as they provide
ample protection against the sunshine but also keep children cooler.
Comfort Factor
Kids and comfort go hand in hand because if they are not comfortable
in what they are wearing, then you’ll certainly know about it. Unless you
want a child constantly whining about the fabric on their skin or something
not fitting correctly, choosing clothing that factors this element in is
paramount. In their younger years, scratchy denim or zips can cause
discomfort on the skin, and the recent trend of skinny jeans can also restrict
movement when toddlers and young children are starting to walk. It’s also
wise to check out seams and the inside of clothing as on the outside it might
look fine but inside, seams can rub against the skin and cause irritation.

D. GENERALIZATION/ SYNTHESIS
Children of young age most of the time don’t have the ability to choose
for themselves or don’t know what or which is the best for them.
Considering the appropriate color, fabric, their age and clothing design is
very important to save money and time and also to achieve satisfaction. The
process of sewing specifically stitches used in sewing children’s dress should
also be given attention to make sure that the dress is durable and can stand
from the active life of the children.
Buying children’s dress is fun but if you do not know the different
things to consider it may cost too much. We must consider the color, the
design, the fabric, the size and age and even climate. Safety precautions
must be the first to consider. Use appropriate closure for every dress.
Expensive or not, always consider and remember that the child must
be comfortable and at ease while wearing the dress.
