the particulars stated in the application form which I submitted online for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT), are true
to the best of my knowledge and belief.I agree to abide by the rules and regulations given in the notification and also to the decision
of the Examination Authority, on my admission to the Examination.I have noted that the Examination Authority has the right to
withhold my result even after appearing in the Examination in addition to any other action as may be deemed fit in the event of any
of the statements made above being found incorrect.It is certified that I have gone through the instructions contained in the
notification and admit card.

4. Inside the exam centre premises, if a candidate is found in possession with prohibited item(s), which includes, but are not
limited to the following, the item will be confiscated and it will be construed as an attempt to using unfair means:-
(a) Communication/ electronic/ digital/ wireless devices like calculators,docupen,electronic watches with facilities of
calculator, cellular phone, memory card/ stick, blue tooth device, pager, organizer, personal digital assistant(PDA),
concealed microphone or camera, radio, headset, walkman, recorder, translator etc.
(b) Textual or stationery material such as a book, paper, log tables, clip board, slide rule (except blue or black ballpoint
pen)
(c) Personal items (ornaments, wallet, purse, wrist band, head gear, scarf, goggles, jacket, food, drinks etc.)
5. Candidates are also advised not to bring any valuable/ costly item to the exam Centres, as safe keeping of the same
cannot be assured. Examination authority will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
6. Consumption of tobacco or alcoholic products is strictly prohibited inside the exam centre premises.
7. Candidates must make own arrangements for conveyance. No TA/ DA or allowance will be paid for appearing in the test.
8. This Admit Card only permits a candidate to appear in the AFCAT online examination based on details furnished by the
candidate in the application form. This in no way should be inferred as an acceptance of eligibility which will be scrutinized at
subsequent stages of selection.
9. Candiates are expected to have read the detailed instructions, Covid-19 guidelines and also to be familiar with the
practice test available on the Web Portal (https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in). At the exam centre, please go through
instructions mentioned in Question Paper before commencement of the test.
10. After logging in for the examination, the onus of filling the correct information in relevant fields, as per the instructions
given by the invigilator, is solely on the candidates.
11. Candidate’s colour photograph will be taken during verification process. Candidates are required to put the thumb
impression on the admit card in advance (at home) before proceeding to the examination centre and to sign on the same in
front of the invigilators.
12. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before completion of the AFCAT/ EKT (as applicable). After the
exam, before leaving the exam hall, candidates are to write their name and particular on the rough sheets and drop the same
in the drop boxes after displaying to the staff available next to drop box.
13. In the event of any uncertainty due to reasons of security, natural disaster or technical breakdown beyond control, IAF
reserves the right to delay or postpone the examination at a single or multiple exam centre(s). Candidates are requested to
bear with the inconvenience and cooperate.
14. For EKT Candidates Only:The candidates are to attempt only the question paper of the EKT stream mentioned in the
Admit Card.
15. This Admit Card is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is a legally punishable offence. Candidates must
not mutilate Admit Card or change any entry thereof. If there is any discrepancy in the Admit Card information, candidates are
to inform the exam authorities via email to afcatcell@cdac.in (with copy to afcatcell@gmail.com) immediately after receipt of
the Admit Card. Similarly complaints/ grievances about the examination, if any, may be mailed to the same email address,
within 48 hours after the examination. Complaints/ grievances received thereafter will not be entertained.
16. Please preserve Admit Card duly stamped and signed by IAF Observer of exam centre on the day of exam. The
shortlisted candidates would be required to present the same at the time of testing at Air Force Selection Board.
17. Candidates must visit the IAF Web Portal regularly and follow any advisory on the exam.
COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR CANDIDATES
Social Distancing measures will be implemented as per Government of India guidelines in current scenario of
COVID-19 to ensure health & safety of the candidates. Adequate measures are implemented for safety of all without
compromising the high standards, sanctity, and fairness in conduct of the examination. Candidates are also required to
adhere to guidelines and for Social Distancing and hygiene to ensure safety & health of their own and fellow candidates.
1. Standard Operating Procedures for implementing safety precautions and for maintaining required standard of hygiene are
getting implemented.
2. Before each shift starts (and after last shift of the candidate) seating area will be thoroughly sanitized - monitor, keyboard,
mouse, webcam, desk and the chair, all door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc will be disinfected.
5. Ropes will be put outside the exam centre such that only 20 girls and 20 boys are in the queue at any given point of time.
6. Markings will be made on the floor to ensure that the candidates maintain social distancing while in queue.
8. Rough sheets will be kept at all desks before start of exam by invigilators wearing gloves to ensure hygiene.
9. Candidate to reach centre as per the Reporting/Entry time at Centre given in the Admit Card to avoid any crowding at the
centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distancing.
Protocol for management of entry inside the exam centre
Before entering the examination hall
1. All candidate must fill the self-declaration form before proceeding to exam centre.
2. Candidates need to report to their exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their admit card only.
3. Candidates must put on face mask throughout the exam process, starting from verification process till end of Exam.
4. Candidates are to avoid all non-essential movement outside and inside the exam centre premises and no gatherings is
permitted.
6. Candidates need to maintain a space of at least 6 feet from each other at all the time. Queue manager / ropes and Floor
Marks will be arranged outside the centre. Follow the instructions provided by centre staff.
7. The staff will check the body temperature of the candidates using a Thermo-Gun.
9. Candidates will have to sanitise/wash their hands before entering the examination hall.
10.Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the venue:
(a)Admit Card for AFCAT 02/2020
(b)Aadhaar Card
(c)Another valid photo identity proof as mentioned in Admit card
(d)One passport size colour photograph - Same as uploaded during online application
(e)Ballpoint Pen
(f)Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
(g)Personal transparent water bottle

12.Candidates are to abide by all DO'S and DONT'S of COVID-19 advisories issued by Govt of India and adhere to all the
social distancing norms while giving exam.
During Examination
1. A4 size sheet will be kept at each candidate’s desk for use by candidate for Rough work. If Additional sheets are required
for rough work by the candidate, the same shall be made available on demand.
3. Candidates are to satnitise their hand before and after the use of PC.
After Examination
1. On completion of a shift, the candidates will be permitted to move out in an orderly manner one candidate at a time.
2. Candidates are to wait for instructions from invigilator and to not get up from seat until advised.
3. Candidate must drop the Rough Sheets in the drop boxes after displaying to the staff available next to drop box. If any
candidate misses to drop Rough Sheets in boxes, action (which also includes disqualification from the exam) can be taken
against him.
