INTRODUCTION:
My name is Atul Batish, I belong from AMBALA, HARYANA(INDIA). My date of birth is 22 June 2001.
APPLYING FOR:
Diploma in Hospitality - Hotel Operations Management from Centennial College of Toronto,

Canada.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
I completed my class Grade 10 from ST JOSEPH SCHOOL CIVIL LINES AMBALA CITY HARYANA,
affiliated by CBSE board and scored 10 CGPA in 2017. After completion of grade 10, I further
enrolled myself in POLICE DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL AMBALA CITY HARYANA for my further studies and
opted for commerce stream in Grade 12 and scored 83.6% in 2019.
My Aim is to further enhance myself into the Hotel Management field wherein which I would like to
choose my career into. This has been a goal of mine since my childhood as I always love to watch
shows like Master Chef, Food food, Travel India etc. I prevail to avail a chance to study abroad,
Secured 6.5 bands overall in IELTS and wish to study from Centennial College of Toronto, Canada.
REASON FOR CHOOSING CENTENNIAL COLLEGE:
I want to pursue my studies and Hotel Operations Management in this magnificent College. This is a
leading College for applying arts and technology with five campuses which gives training to millions
of students in their desired field for years. Centennial College is an internationally recognized
practical oriented college with a strong tradition of excellence in teaching, research and community
engagement. Particularly for international students, Centennial claims to offer an education without
borders, giving the students a unique position in the market and hence in the globalized world. The
program that I have chosen in the college suits my prospects better than any other college that I
have considered. The college helps to develop the technical skills needed to get the job and
employers look for such skilled graduates trained by this college.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: - The modern learning environment, field education opportunities and
experienced faculty help children develop and hone the techniques needed to do the job.
REASON FOR CHOOSING CANADA:
Canada’s Education System is excellent and ranks among the best in the World. The Nation is a
peaceful, politically stable and safe country for which it has even deservedly got the award for being
among the best and safe sounded nations in the world. It has internationally recognized degrees
and provides excellent health care to the international students. Canada is a multicultural country
and is the destination which can offer me the desired course, contents at very reasonable fee
structure unlike United States and other International Countries. Moreover, only Canada can Provide
me a peaceful atmosphere to pursue my higher education/ studies.
WHY DIPLOMA IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT:

First of All, Management is the key to a successful business every business either big or small
requires a good management, strategic and organized unit of people who can provide the insight
and plan the future of a successful business. I have chosen Diploma in Hotel Management for my
higher studies as it is the best one which will help me to gain the most required skills in hospitality
and Service. I’ll get exposer to current and best practices in front office, food and beverage,
marketing and sales, conferences and catering. This program will provide a launching pad to my
Career in future. As this field is shooting up like a rocket in development of various hospitality
departments and service line, hence I would like to extend my skills and contribute a significant part
in it.
FUTURE PLANS:
This field will develop a world of opportunities for me since there is innumerous hotel in the world
like The Leela, Oberoi, The Lalit, Le Meridien, Park Hyatt, etcetera and counting, providing
opportunities abound for Hotel Management Graduates as management and supervisory positions.
After completion of my course I shall get international exposure and education both. I shall keep
myself determined in this course in order to shape up a stable career so that I shall be able to
substantially help to support my family. Canada is a developed country and considering its ethics its
beauty and its disciplinary stature a good rise in my growth shall do take place.
My studies from India has helped me develop a good growth, however a diploma from Centennial
College shall be a booster for my career.
