The research title called Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership was authored in August
2020 by Gentiana Mjaku, Ph.D. c. It is interesting to me because the article is informative and
concise. I wanted to write about Strategic Management and Strategic leadership because it has a
significant impact on the strategic management process, enabling organizations to implement
effective strategies.
The Abstract isn’t a brief synthesis of the entire project; because, it does not contain problem
descriptions, procedures and results.
The article is clarifies background of the title Strategic Management and Strategic Leadership.
The article fails to clearly set out the problem of the study, identify gaps of the study and
rationalize the need of the study.
The article summarises previous investigations in order to inform the reader of the state of
current research.
There is A significant gap in the literature is doesn’t use primary data source only use secondary
data. In secondary sources the chances of bias are higher as compared to that in primary sources.
This paper reviews the strategic management and strategic leadership literature. Secondary data
is used; respectively the literature review examination was done to achieve the desired results.
However, the analysis is not conducted by making appropriate comparison against inputs from
preceding related research works, previous case study works and scanning of practitioner
journals. There is no adequate indication as to attempts made to make analysis using different
number of backgrounds and settings in the paper so that considerable level of validity is
achieved. The other limitation of the study is that sample size is relatively small and the study is
done only across very limited time span.
This article is meet written with the aim of analyzing different definitions of strategic
management, definitions of leadership, and discusses the impact of strategic management and
leadership on strategic decision making. This article contribute important new knowledge, we
need to understand the culture of leadership, as defined by the collective actions of formal and
informal leaders working together to influence organizational success.

It is not simply the number or quality of individual leaders that determines organizational
success, but the ability of formal leaders.
The article concludes the results of the study effectively. However, it doesn’t forwards
applicable/feasible recommendations.
The articles failed to clearly indicate whether the researchers reviewed related and relevant
literatures. There is an indication that Harvard referencing is used in making citation in the body
of summary of the thesis. However, since appropriate references are not presented in the paper it
is not possible to duly conclude whether Harvard or Oxford method of referencing is applied.
And thus it is unable to evaluate regarding the concepts coherence and consistency. As a result,
unable to identify whether different and relatively recent mix of sources such as websites,
journals and books are adequately reviewed in the paper or not.
