1. Why do you think that volunteering is important for the youth? Expand your answer.

Volunteering offers the youth the ability to navigate towards practical problems to
make positive progress. Volunteering is also used as a means to address challenges that we
face individually or as a group.To meet the needs of others, volunteers must set their own
needs aside and do meaningful service experiences. There are many advantages for the youth
if they become active and get involved with what is happening in their community. These
transformative interactions inspire the youth to tackle spiritual challenges, explore solutions,
and employ creative thinking.

Youth volunteers can make an impact through the lives of many people and the
benefits are listed as follows: Youth volunteerism can promote a healthy lifestyle, execute
kindness, and make responsible decisions. It can also enhance the psychological and
intellectual development of every individual. Through volunteerism, the youth can increase
their self-esteem and sense of responsibility. The youth can also discover new interests in
learning, applying new materials, and new social skills. They can improve their health in all
aspects – physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

For youth and for societies, they will lead to better progressas a result of their
commitment, begin to see real differences, they develop a cognitive connection between
effort and positive results.It can help promote lifelong empathy and inclusivity; qualities
required to cultivate healthy, unified communities.Youth volunteerism will strive to enhance
faith and create a sense of unity within the diverse members of your group by offering
opportunities for youth volunteerism.In reality, young people who volunteer help to change
the today, while giving themselves and their families a stable, safe future.
2. Give some advantages of volunteerism to the youth? Minimum of five advantages then
explain why.

1. Volunteerism can connect every individual to one another.


- Volunteering helps you to interact and make it a safer environment for your
community. It will make a huge difference to the lives of individuals, animals, and
organizations in need, including helping out with the smallest activities.

2. Volunteerism is healthy for the physical and mental health.


- The detrimental effects of stress on the body are a factor in stress control, and the
physical health benefits of volunteering abound. Stress strains the body, from
heart disease to chronic pain, depression to unhealthy behaviors, and eliminating
stress improves the health.

3. Volunteerism will bring your profession forward.


- Volunteering will help you get experience and meet individuals in the industry in
your area of interest. Volunteering offers you the ability to learn essential skills
such as leadership, collaboration, problem solving, mission preparation, job
management, and organizing, used in the workplace.

4. Volunteerism has the ability to provide a sense of purpose.

- By serving others you can find the sense of purpose and direction in your life by
volunteering. Volunteering will help you to become stronger in conquering your
own problems, keep you mentally stimulated and to lead your life more
excitement.

5. Volunteering can help to increase self-confidence.


- Volunteerism gives a natural sense of success becauseyou are doing good for
others and the world. Volunteering will give you a feeling of pride and belonging
as well. The most likely you are to have a realistic vision of your life and possible
objectives, the happier you feel for yourself.
