It gives me great pleasure to invite you all to Lucknow, the capital city of most popular state of

India to participate in the 17 Annual International Conference of Telemedicine Society of India
to be held on 12th-14th November, 2021. This event in Lucknow holds significance as it is going to
coincide with 21st anniversary of our society which was formed in Lucknow in the year 2001.
Besides the usual scientific programme the event will focus on newer emerging digital
technologies which are influencing tele-health, strategy and global policy besides showcasing
the start up initiatives. The theme of the event has been carefully chosen – “Tele-health Trends in
the 21st Century” as the future holds enormous opportunities in the usage of these technologies
which are becoming simpler and less expensive day by day and more over many of them are
patient centric application in home settings. A galaxy of international & national experts will be
participating in this event to update us on the recent trends in Telemedicine & Digital health. The
industry, academia, citizen, media and government are going to share the platform to exchange
ideas for potential application in un-serviced areas to bridge the health service gap.
Twenty years ago a small group of telemedicine enthusiasts from medical & technology domain
gathered in Lucknow on the occasion of first national conference on Telemedicine where in a
resolution was made for creation of a scientific body to provide platform for exchange of
research & practice in the newly developed field of Telemedicine. In the last two decades the
domain has progressed a lot and is still expanding like Artificial Intelligences, Machine
learning, imaging informatics, 5G network, cloud, block chain etc. having potential in
healthcare and professional education.
Let us meet, greet and exchange ideas during the Telemedicon 2021 and enjoy the culture and

17 International Conference of the Telemedicine Society of India (Telemedicon 2021) to be held from

Telemedicon 2021 will connect healthcare professionals, online pharmacy chains, policy makers,
industrialists, health insurance providers, students, and various stakeholders from the field of
Telemedicine and Health Informatics, over one common platform and bring to the fore the main points,
as well as the possible solutions, that could resolve existing issues.

We invite you to submit your abstract for presentation during the meeting. This three day virtual
technical feast is expected to attract participants from India and abroad. You may share your
experience, research involving clinical telemedicine services through a short abstract related to
following Theme:

Abstracts Submission Guidelines Deadlines for Abstract Submission: 30th Sept 2021

Ÿ Presenting authors must enroll for the conference as delegates.

Ÿ The texts/abstracts should be structured: Introduction, Aim and Objective, Material & Methods,
Results and conclusion. Maximum 250-300 words.
Ÿ The use of standard abbreviation is desirable. Place unusual abbreviation in brackets after the full
word the first time it appears.
Ÿ Abstracts should preferably be in MS Word format. The scientific program committee reserves the
right to edit abstracts, if necessary, for clarity, grammar, style, and length. Invited lectures/Guest
lectures are to be given 20 minutes (15 minutes for presentation with 5 minutes for discussion). Short
papers will be of 8 minutes for presentation with 2 minutes for discussion.
Ÿ Accepted abstracts will be published in the Telemedicon'21 Proceedings (Digital Copy) which will
be distributed to all delegates.
Ÿ Abstracts that do not arrive by the submission deadline will be placed in a post-deadline session as
stand-by papers.
Ÿ Poster presentation: Poster Size 60" width x 36" long, Responsibility for mounting/dismounting
posters will lie with the delegates

 Format for Presentation
Ÿ There will be facility in all the halls for single LCD presentation from the laptop provided.
Ÿ LCD projector and laptop will be provided in all session rooms. The speakers will have to arrive at
least 2 hours in advance to load their presentations or can be sent via mail 2 days prior to
presentation.
Ÿ Usage of own laptops are discouraged due to the constraint of time.
Ÿ All movie files preferably as mpeg files should be brought along with the presentation as a single
folder.
Ÿ At the time of loading please verify & ensure that your videos are working.
Ÿ If any special fonts are used please bring the presentation as a pack & go file.
Ÿ There will be a digital reverse timer at the hall and all participants are requested to stick to the
allotted time.
Ÿ No changes will be allowed to be made to the presentations at the last hour.
Ÿ Only material submitted at the preview room will be allowed for presentation.

with our Indian stakeholders. The field of Telehealth after the notification of Telemedicine Practice
