Advantages and Characteristics

No casings required, because anchor bars can be drilled into loose soils without
1 needing casings to support the boreholes.
Both rope threads and trapezoid threads are robust and ideal for rotary-
2 percussive drilling and ensuring a high level of bond with the borehole gout.

3 Fast drilling and installation, because drilling, installation and grouting are in a
single operation.
The hollow core not only serves for flushing during drilling, but also for
4 grouting after drilling.

5 Continuous threads ensure the bars can be cut and coupled at any point, or
extended.

6 Different anchor bits are available for different ground conditions .

Shank Rod:

Shank rod is used for transferring the rotation and percussion from the rock drill to the self-drilling
anchor bar system, usually hexagonal shank rod is equipped with pneumatic rock drill.

Adaptor Coupling:
Adaptor coupling is used to connect self-drilling anchor to shank adaptor, all
adaptor couplings are heat treated for longer service life.

Wedge & Wedge disc

Wedges and wedge discs are the spare parts for adjusting angles to suite the structural requirement,
they are usually installed or welded with the plate.

In order to reduce the corrosion rate and thus increasing the service life, Sinodrills offer hot-dip
galvanized systems. A complete hot-dip galvanized system is usually including hollow bar, coupler,
nut and plate. All hot-dip galvanized items confirm to following standards:

Duplex coating system

For some permanent projects, especially for some underground projects, duplex coating system are
necessary. Just as its name implies, duplex coating system adopts two anti-corrosion measurements,
