Delivery Boy ● With this service delivery boy will get sufficient time to get
deliver food to employee workstation .
● Delivery boy will be earning a incentives also to get deliver
food on time .
● Delivery boy can check order through this system directly and
as well time of preparation .
Management ● Management using this software can decide which dish is most
popular by employees .
● As per management employee are taking around 60 minutes for lunch break with this
system they can reduce this time. As employees are not able to find place and their
favourite dish on time so they need to wait for those things around 30 minutes .
Whereas eating food will take only 10 to 15 minutes .
● As per employee they have to wait for more than 30 minutes which is impacting their
daily office productivity. Food will not be available as per their choice. Time is more
concern.
● Canteen need more man power to handle all employees / customer manually . Which
will cause more cost. Canteen will be overcrowded. They will not be able to deliver food
as per employee choice.
Solution : After creating a canteen online sytem to order food online and get deliver
foos at workstation :
The ordering system will give following benefits :
Food will be deliver to the specified location at specified time as per employee
wish.
Canteen Menu order will be able to create , delete , modify , and view.
Employees can register / deregister for payroll deduction for using food service
and only those employee can use this service who are register for the same.
Summarised order list for the day for canteen staff to prepare food.
Provide complete system access for authorized employees or canteen staff /
manager to generate revenue report .
● This will reduce the cost as more man power is not require to handle employees queries.
It can be done through online so only canteen manager can handle .
● Delivery boy will get sufficient time to deliver food as they can track online if food is
ready or not .

In Scope
● Mention the name of features and what they are used for.
● This website will be applicable only for Unilever Employee for ordering food .
● This application will allow to capture food payroll registration / deregistration ,
ordering food as per their wish , feedback , menu detail.
● Application will provide all the details to HR for those employee who are registered for
food ordering system.
● It should have all login details as well and it should be same as company login details.
● Application should allow management to generate report for food and wastage food
detail.

Business Requirements:
Business objective – 1:
Reduce Canteen food wastage by a minimum of 30% within 6 months following first
release .
Scale : value of food thrown away each month by examining the canteen inventory.
Previous – 25% wasted.
Must Plan for : Less than 15%.
Business objective – 2:
Reduce canteen ordering cost by 15% within 12 months, following initial release.
Business objective - 3:
Increase average effective work time by 30 minutes per employee per day within 3
months.

By making the ordering process automated and by delivering the food to the user’s

Functional Requirements
● Users need to create account , login ID, password and they should be able to recover
the password.
● An Admin should assign the role to users, which reflects their position for example
canteen manager, delivery boy , employee , management, HR , and as well as they
can able to create incident.
● For salary deduction they will be able to login with their company credential and it
should be with employee id and workstation details.
