    Overview :

    College Management Software is a web enabled software designed to manage the entire Operations of
    an institution. College Management Software is a simple yet powerful one joint integrated platform that
    connects all the various departments of an institution like Administration, Examination, Library, Hostel and
    many more specialized modules.

    About College Management System :

    College Management Software is a web based application in which users can access anywhere anytime.
    CMS allows you to store modify and retrieve information using the pull down menus for all the modules. The
    software includes many modules like:
    1. Admission Cell.
    2. Examination Cell.
    3. Library Management System.
    4. Hostel Management System.
    5. Payroll Management System.
    6. Account Department.
    7. Adjustments.
    8. User Accounts.

    1. Admission Cell :
    Before proceeding with the College Management Software the master data is basic requirement to run
    the software efficiently. Data like institution details, course details, branch details, and student details are all
    recorded in this module. After that an order list of all those candidates are generated and can be printed
    accordingly so that we can display the main list student , the waiting list student and the second waiting list
    student and so on. Finally, we are with the list who are to be admitted and the admission procedure will be
    done in that order.

    2. Examination Cell :
    Here all the examination related tasks are managed. The various tasks are like issuing admit card, mark
    sheet, result details etc are tracked off. It also has the Online Examination module in it. This tool provides
    support to generate and conduct tests On-line, on topic of your choice. One can create question banks,
    configure aptitude test, set timing and display results automatically after completion. The tool provides very
    rich user interface.

    3. Library Management System :


    Library Management System is a web-centric comprehensive integrated application. LMS is designed to
    meet the needs of libraries, both large and small. The system supports all the day-to-day operations of a library.
    It provides services to members, librarians, and administrators. These services have been designed to help
    users get their jobs done faster and more efficiently. The graphical interface brings new power and flexibility to
    libraries and their users. LMS provides an outstanding web based search interface. It is a rapidly deployed out-
    of-the-box solution, which can be easily customized to organization requirements. LMS automates information
    management, streamlines administrative processes and eliminates repetitive tasks in the library environment.
    LMS takes library management system into a browser environment. This will provide a user friendly browser
    interface for end users to search for relevant information.
    4. Hostel Management System :
    Hostel management by manual way is tedious process, since it involves work load and time
    consumption. In this system, we can easily manage the hostel details, room details, student records, mess
    expenditure, mess bill calculation, easy way of room allocation and hostel attendance. The main feature of this
    project is easy to allocate for the student and also easy to calculate mess bill.

    5. Payroll Management System :


    Payroll process plays a vital role in any institution. The Payroll module in College Management Software is a
    very simple, flexible and user friendly module. The module takes care of all your requirements relating to
    accounting and management of employees payroll. Calendar of Events, staff attendance details can be
    maintained. Loan details can be maintained. Payroll module stores complete records of the employees and
    generates pay slips.

    6. Account Department :
    This department deals with all the money related events like fees collection, salary distribution etc.

    7. Adjustments :
    Here we can make changes in the system ,eg. if there is sudden hike in the fees structures than we can
    easily modify it .We can make the subject adjustments etc

    8. User Accounts :
    Here the administrator is allowed to create user account so that the administrator can assign a
    password protected authentication to the in-charge of all departments. Moreover the Head of each
    departments are also powered with so.
