    Subject : STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS AND DESIGN

    Project : Proposed Wet Market

    Dear Ma’am/sir:

    Further to your email dated Nov 22, 2021 regarding the request for proposal in the structural
    design and analysis of the above-mentioned project, we are pleased to inform you that we
    are formalizing our contract subject but not limited to the following terms and conditions:

    1.0 SCOPE OF WORK

    1.1. Perform data collection basis of design, architectural plan and geotechnical
    investigation report prepared by geotechnical Engineer (if available) and etc.
    Please take note that shear wall/ Bearing wall is not an option in this project,
    only an exhaustive analysis and design to implement successfully the Special
    Moment Resisting Space Frame shall be performed.

    1.2. Perform a three (3)-dimensional mathematical modeling of the structure as


    comprising of all non-linear members which undergo inelastic response during
    an earthquake.

    1.3. Perform an analysis of lateral loads as designed, subject to the effects of cyclic
    loading, drift, and strong column-weak beam limitations.

    1.4. Perform a complete and detailed structural analysis with load combinations and
    design investigation of each structural member based on the requirements of the
    National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) 2015 and governing building
    codes of the Philippines.

    1.5. Review of Detailed Drawing provided by Nida Eborde

    a) General Note & Design Criteria


    b) Foundation Plan
    c) Floor Framing Plan
    d) Roof Framing Plan
    e) Elevations, Sections, Schedules of Structural Elements
    f) Retaining walls, Perimeter walls, Landscape slab, and other typical
    details

    1.6. Preparation of the structural calculations report and Technical Specification

    2.0 CONTRACT TIME

    The scope of work stipulated in this agreement shall be completed within the
    following periods starting from the date of payment receipt

    2.1. Structural Analysis & Design - 10Days


    2.2. Structural Drawing - 10 Days

    The Total of 20 days (included Saturday&sunday), that assuming there is no further


    revision on architectural plan. The delivery time of Plan, Reports and other will be
    depend on time set by logistic company

    3.0 CONTRACT PRICE

    For the scope of work mentioned above, the professional fee shall be PESOS:
    FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (P50, 000.00) ONLY, not included of Value-Added Tax
    (VAT).

    The contract price shall be fixed and cannot be subjected to adjustment regardless of
    price and labor escalation. The contract price shall be inclusive of all time cost and
    expenses associated with the aforementioned scope of work.

    4.0 PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    We confirm that the payment shall be made by Nida Eborde follows:

    4.1. Fifty percent (50%) upon acceptance and signing of this agreement.
    4.2. Twenty percent (20%) upon receipt of Reports in pdf format.
    4.3. Thirty percent (30%) upon completion of the services and receipt delivery of
    Report (Sign and Seal)

    5.0 OTHER

    5.1. The Engineer shall exercise full comprehensive skill and care (no short-
    cutting/simplifying or magic evaluation) in the performance of the services in
    conformity with the normal standards of profession.

    5.2. The Engineer reserves the right to stop work if fees are not paid within a
    reasonable number of days from the date the payment is due.

    5.3. The Architect of the project will provide Civil/Structural Engineer. with the
    following:
    a) Complete set of Architectural plans;
    b) Soil Investigation Report (if Available)

    5.4. Inclusion of Services


    a) 7 set Structural Plan
    b) 3 set of Structural Report and Specification
    c) Sign & Seal
