Message from the Chairwoman of 3rd ICTROMI 2021
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee Chair, it is a great pleasure and honor to extend to you
all a warm invitation to attend the 3rd International Conference on Tropical Medicine and Infec-
tious Diseases (ICTROMI) which will be held in Medan, North Sumatera on 27 November 2021
and 3 to 4 December 2021. This year, we introduce a new format of 3rd ICTROMI, combining a
virtual meeting with a face-to-face conference to ensure the involvement of as many as health
care professionals from Indonesia and worldwide, but also a to re-connect participants in an
exciting offline meeting in Medan after the devastating 2 years of pandemic.
The 3rd ICTROMI will consist of pre-conference workshop, plenary session, symposium sessions,
oral presentations, poster presentations, and the new agenda, a turbo talk. We will have 16
speakers from Indonesia and 11 speakers from 5 countries including Australia, France, Norway,
United Kingdom and United States of America. Top universities in Indonesia and world
well-known institutes also take part including Oxford University, London School of Hygiene &
Tropical Medicine, CDC, Cornell University, Melbourne University, and Centre Scientifique de
Monaco.
We are really proud to host and present this incredible event. We sincerely hope all participants
will be able to get the optimal benefit from the workshop and conference, and helping each
