    How to Write an Immersion Paper (Simplified Approach)

    About the Title: The students must think about the title that interests them and the
    readers. A concept that can be manageable and workable within the specific time
    allotted for. The students together with the assigned adviser will work together in
    writing the Immersion Concept Paper.

    Tips for the students: Focus on topics connected with your own work experience as
    well as the situations where your knowledge from the actual work can be applied. Your
    Immersion Concept Paper should highlight the knowledge and skills you obtained
    during the Masteral course and how you can apply this in a prospective workplace. 
    For example, it may be an Issues of concern (e.g., Stressful workplace, Absenteeism,
    the leadership style of the boss, etc.

    Create an Immersion Concept Paper:  Students will need to submit a proposal to


    their adviser, a 1-page title proposal. Usually, it is a paper of 400 words or more. How
    to write a 1-page Immersion Concept proposal?

    Students Guide
    Consider the following points in the proposal:
     Discuss the chosen topic and why you choose to write about the particular topic.
     Share the experience or background in the proposed topic.
     Highlight the scope of information available, such as a review of related
    literature and sources.
     Proposal and what methods you plan to use, for example, a historical, narrative,
    situational documentation of the issues under scrutiny. 
     Set the target time to achieve the completion of the Immersion Concept Paper.
    In the Concept Paper, you need to develop a literature review and methodology
    that you plan to use in paper writing. 

    Information Gathering. Identify the sources and search for information related to the
    proposed Immersion Concept Paper. Look through textbooks and a list of
    recommended review of literature from the Master courses.

    Come up with a structure. The structure of every Immersion Concept Paper is


    important. A clear structure will help the students logically divide their work and
    concentrate on each part. 

    Recommended structure of an Immersion Concept Paper:

     Title page.

     Introduction.

     Review of Related Literature.

     Methods.
     Results and Discussion.

     Conclusion and Recommendations.

     References list.

    Description of Each Part

    Introduction:

    It is important to discuss the historical background of issues of concern, supported by


    relevant literature. It is best to demonstrate a clear sense of what has been done in the
    context of the study.

    Review of related literature


    It is recommended to summarize the findings of the existing information on the topic.
    Make general conclusions and brief analysis of each source that is valuable for the
    audience. Keep being critical of the sources and note the gaps in the information. 

    Methods
    It is best to analyze the process of the research. The reader should understand what
    you have done and how: collecting data, analysis, evaluation, etc. Justify the methods
    you chose and discuss the positive and negative sides of the chosen method.

    Results and Discussion 


    It is important to describe the data of the study, if the study needs to perform statistics
    or other data, visualize it in tables and charts. Adding a description and an
    interpretation of the data can help the readers understand what the paper intends to
    do.
     
    Conclusion and Recommendation
    The students will have to summarize the findings and make recommendations for
    readers, further researches and applications. Find the connection of your results with
    the issue under scrutiny.
