3.1 Abstract
• Purpose of Experiment: Verification of Ohm’s Law
• Observation: We observed that as we increase voltage, the current in the circuit increases (as
according to ohm’s law).
• Major Points of Resources: We used our DMM for measuring current, DC source for the voltage
supply and a breadboard for making the circuit.
• Key Results: We verified that ohm’s law is valid for DC circuits.

3.2 Equipment
• Multiple Color-Coded Resistors

• Digital Multi-meter (UT33B+)

3.3 Procedure (As prescribed in the manual) (Observations are attached with the report)

3.4 Discussion

Result Analysis:
• The value of current in a resistor is directly proportional to its voltage.
Potential Causes of Error:
• The received deviations can be due to different precisions of DC Source and DMM, the change in the
resistance of the resistor due to external factors, or personal errors.
Specific Cause of Error:
• Our conclusion is that most of them are because of change in the resistance of the resistor due
environmental conditions.
Role of Theory:
• The results went successfully hand in hand with the theory. The theory explained the results well. The
value of current was directly proportional to the voltage.
Potential Solution of Error:
• We can minimize by controlling the environment in which we measure our current.
Achievement of Objective:
• The objective was achieved since ohm’s law was verified.

3.5 Conclusion
After Performing this task, we able to determine the voltage and current relationship and behavior of resistor
in a DC circuit.
