TERMS CONDITIONS
Delivery Maximum 90 working days after Opening L/C or Advanced Payment.

40% payment is to be made after receiving Bank Documents (For Duty & CNF)
05% payment is to be made after reaching the goods at site

Warranty 1 (One) year from the date of Commissioning.
Maintenance Maxford will provide after sales services i.e trouble-shooting, maintenance &
servicing within the warranty period.
After completion of warranty period service charge will be provided by the
customer through negotiation.
Free Servicing Maxford will conduct 12 free servicing for the first 12 months after hand over. After
12 free servicing, customer will need to have an agreement with Maxford for
continuation of monthly servicing at a cost of 3000/- per month.
Acknowledgement Warranty: The warranty does not cover damages caused by :

a. Thunder, flood, cyclone, rain water or voltage fluctuation.
b. Resulting from accident, misuse or tampering.
c. Installation to the wrong local voltage stabilizer.
d. Unauthorized repair.
VAT & Tax This offer is exclusive of any supply VAT and AIT. Deduction of any Taxes from the

Materials such as galvanized, epoxy painted steel sheet or even stainless
steel can be used, which stand out for high durability and protection from
damage due to frequent , heavy and long term use. They are mainly used
for heavy duty industrial applications, warehouses, super markets,
parking’s, hospitals and commercial centers.
SERVICING
AND
MAINTENANCE
During the free service period:

a. Maxford will Provide service & maintenance work free of cost for a period of 12 months from the date of
commissioning of the elevator.
b. Periodic examine / checkup of the elevator and its performance as per the norms of the industry.
c. Clean, Adjust and lubricate the moving parts of elevators once in a month during normal working hours.
d. Provide lubricant and cleaning material required in the course of carrying out service and maintenance
works.
e. Perform all required service and maintenance works during normal working hours except in case special
emergency call.
f. Provide replacement of consumable spare parts and make good of any other parts /component if damaged
and or non-functioning by means of repair and or replacement as and when necessary at free cost.
g. Train up the elevator operator as employed by the elevator owner on the major areas of lift operation. This
training period will be for 06 hours during working hours.
h. Provide a service & maintenance register for keeping the attendance and job detail of service &
maintenance person on regular basis. Keeping and maintenance such register is the responsibility of the
elevator owner.
After free service period:

To continue the service and maintenance work of the lift after
free service period, a service & maintenance contract has to be
executed between Maxford and lift owner. Maxford will forward
a draft of ‘service & maintenance contract’ to the lift owner well
ahead of expiree of the free service period.
The modus operand of contractual service & maintenance same

as in free service period excepting the lift owner to pay cost of
repair and replacement of parts and components to Maxford as
and when necessary.

Talk2Lift can be adjusted on the electronic board of any elevator cabin.
The cabin holds an “extra button” which upon pressing prompts the passenger to
pronounce their destination.

Safety Feature
Distance The car and hoist way door distance minimum 30mm.
Guide Rail Special T-shaped solid steel guide rails for car and hollow for counter weight. Diameter 10mm
for Car and 16mm hollow for counter weight. The rails will be fixed with guide rail brackets and
clamps.
Ropes Hoisting ropes of the lift will be provided with bright steel wire rope with safety factor of at least
14. The over speed governor rope will be bright steel wire rope with fiber core having safety
factor of at least 8.
Speed The safety will be operated by a speed governor located at the top of the hoist way and connected
to the safety gear through a continuous steel rope. If any unusual acceleration causes the
governor &
governor cuts off the power of control panel and grasp the governor rope & activates

Counter Counter weight frame will be designed for proper

The works below are not included in the elevator installation work and should be carried out by the building
contractors in accordance with our drawing, relevant international or local codes.
• Construction of lift shaft, machine room and shaft ceiling according to layout drawings. Shaft steel
structure and shaft cladding to be supplied and designed by others, if required.
• One Front wall at the main landing is not to be constructed until after all elevator materials are
located in the hoist way. Remaining front entrance walls shall not be constructed until after door
frames and sills are in place. If front walls are poured concrete bearing wall, rough openings are to be
provided to accept entrance frames and filled in after frames are set. Rough opening shall be suit the
elevator contractor.
• Plumb-line tolerance over the whole hoist way must not exceed +30 mm
• Final civil work/Finishing work of the landing doors and any others civil jobs if required.
• Any type of breaking of civil work will be done by the building owner or civil contractor.
• Cooling system of machine room and hoist way, temperature must be between Maximum 45 degree
& Minimum 5 degree.
• Lighting and socket out let in machine room.
• A three phase, four wire electrical feeder system with an equipment grounding conductor terminating
in the machine room, size of the feeder and grounding to suit elevator power characteristics.
• Supply of the main switch, MCCB, DB box adequate earth line.
• Electrical power in machine room for installation. The electrical power line should be 380 volts, 3
phases up to machine room; circuit breaker will be 40 amps.
• Permanent power supply 2 week after start of installation for trial & run.
• Lockable store for keeping installation materials.
• Water facility in the premise for using for installation people cleanness.
• Security of the installation people in the area and security material.
• Supply and installation of fall-prevention plate at the hoist entrance.
• Provision of ladder in case deep pit.
• Provision of fire extinguisher in the machine room.
