1.

Drawing scale
• it is a illustration which has been reduced or enlarged ( the dimensions are proportional) from
its original size.

There are two (2) types of scales; the reduction where the full-size measurement is made
smaller and the enlargement scales that are generally used on items where the measurements
are too small to be seen or drawn accurately.

2. Orthographic
• it is common method of representing three-dimensional objects. Also, it is the projection
of a single view of an object usually by three two-dimensional drawing surface in which the
lines of projection are perpendicular to the drawing surface. There are six orthographic
views – front, top, left, right, bottom and rear.

3. Isometric
• also called Isometric projection which is the method that is used by engineers,
architects etc. for graphics representation of three-dimensional objects in two
dimensions in technical and engineering drawings
4. Oblique
• oblique projection is a method that is used for producing two-dimensional drawings of
three-dimensional objects. There are two types of oblique; the cavalier and cabinet. The
difference between the two is based on how the depth of the object is represented.

5. Perspective
• perspective drawing is a method that allows us to accurately draw a three dimensional
object onto a two dimensional plane. There are typically three types of perspective drawing:
one-point perspective, two-point perspective, and three-point
perspective. One-point perspective is used for compositions that look at objects from the front.
Two-point perspective is used for compositions that look at objects at an
angle. Lastly, three-point perspective is used for drawing compositions that are looking up at a
large object or looking down from a high place.
6. Residential Plan
• It is a set of construction or working drawings that define all the construction
specifications of a residential house such as the dimensions, materials, layouts, installation
methods and techniques.

There are sone examples of Residential plan which are plot plan, elevations, foundation plan,
floor plan, cross section and many more.
