    Subject : New SR2USB01 connecting cable

    Why the evolution?

    Because of component obsolescence, we had to find a new component for communication

    Changes:

    - The commercial reference SR2USB01 will not change. The new version of the cable will be
    delivered by the manufacturing plant from week 1739. As we will not get back the stock of
    existing cable, both versions could be delivered to your customers during some weeks. The
    packs (SRxPACKxxx) will be delivered with the old version of cable until the new V5.1 version of
    Zelio Soft will be implemented.

    - The existing driver (Z2_USB-Driver-W7-64-bits_V1_0), supplied in the installation file or


    downloadable on Schneider-electric.com is not compatible with this new cable.
    - A driver to be used with the new cable is downloadable on Schneider-electric.com (search:
    DriverSR2USB01_H2) and will be supplied with the V5.1 version of Zelio Soft 2. Direct link to the

    - The new driver is compatible with Windows ®7, 8.1 and 10 (improvement of transfer time under
    Windows ®10 compared to existing cable).

    - The new driver has been validated with Zelio Soft V4.6, V5.0 and V5.1

    - It is possible to use alternatively both version of cables on the same PC, both drivers must be
    installed.

    - A new instruction sheet is delivered with the products and available for download on Schneider-
    electric.com (search: 1606428_01A55)

    Consequences for the customers:

    Until the availability of Zelio Soft2 V5.1 (planned end of October for download, 1
    month later for CD):
    The customers may receive the new version of SR2USB01 cable but Zelio Soft2 V5.0 installation files
    do not include any suitable driver; the customers must download the new driver on Schneider-
    electric.com as indicated on the cable instruction sheet. Please note that this driver can be found by
    the most popular search engines : Google, Qwant, Yahoo, Bing, Ask ….

    When Zelio Soft2 V5.1 will be available:


    The driver will be included in the installation files and then easy to find by customers.

    What happens if the customer do not install the new driver but uses the new
    cable ?
    A message error will be displayed as soon as the customer tries to communicate the smart relay and
    the computer (error DC46_10 or error DC46_86).
    How to identify the new version of SR2USB01?

    On product; the version (H2.0) is mentioned just below the CE marking on the cable casing
    (smart relay side):

    On existing cable, the internal part number is mentioned (88960109) instead of the version.

    Note: It is not possible to identify the version of cable on the packaging, but as the cable is packed in a
    plastic bag, it’s marking is readable.
