    EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2018-05

    REORGANIZATION AND COMPOSITION OF THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK


    REDUCTION MANAGEMENT COORDINATING COUNCIL (BDRRMC)

    WHEREAS, PD 1566 mandates the organization of Disaster Risk Reduction


    Management Coordinating Councils and establishment of Disaster Operations Centers in
    every province, city, municipality and barangay and in training of Disaster Operation Center
    Members;

    WHEREAS, the May 14, 2018 Synchronized Barangay Elections produced new set of
    barangay officials and therefore there is a need to reorganize the Barangay Disaster
    Coordinating Council;

    NOW THEREFORE I HON. GERARDO C. GARCIA, Punong Barangay, by virtue


    of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

    Section 1. Reorganization and Composition of the BDRRMC. Pursuant to PD 1566


    there is hereby reorganized a “Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Coordinating
    Council” to be composed of the following:

    HON. GERARDO C. GARCIA - Chairman


    Punong Barangay

    HON. JOSEFINA D. GOZUM, Kagawad - Member

    HON. MARCELINO B. GOZUM, Kagawad - Member

    HON. FRANCIS C. OCAMPO, Kagawad - Member

    HON. FELICIANO M. BAUTISTA, Kagawad - Member

    HON. ANTONIO P. CUDUG, Kagawad - Member

    HON. JERRAMIN Q. GAZA, Kagawad - Member

    HON. RYAN C. DIZON, Kagawad - Member

    HON. JONNEL C. JINGCO, SK Chairman - Member

    HON. GLORIA M. ARROYO, District Rep. - Member

    ANICIA TUNGUL, NGO/PO/PS/CSO - Member

    AUREA NICDAO, NGO/PO/PS/CSO - Member

    Section 2. Duties and Functions of the BDRRMC, the BDRRMC shall have the
    following duties and functions.

    1. Establish the Barangay Disaster Operations Center


    2. Formulate Disaster Preparedness Plans

    3. Coordinate with the BDOC the disaster operations activities of its tasked units

    4. Submits recommendation to the Sangguniang Barangay for the declaration of


    state of calamity in the barangay

    SECTION 3. Meetings. The BDRRMC members shall attend a regular


    Monthly meeting or as often as may be necessary.

    SECTION 4. EFFECTIVITY. This order shall take effect immediately.
