Envisioning Your Business

Ah! A heart-based business that includes transformational retreats! We know that

many folks in our tribe would LOVE to run retreats – and you’re still working on starting
and growing a business that has a big enough audience to fill a retreat.

To make sure that your heart aligns with the business you create, let’s do a little
envisioning. How big or small do you want your business to be? Do you want it to be
primarily local or mobile and global? Your answers will help you start to brand and
position yourself for your match-made-in-heaven niche!

Your Vision

Make some time and space to reflect on your vision. You might want to envision
yourself a few years from now and imagine that you can take a peek at your life and
business.

1. What is the feeling or vibe you want to have when creating your business?

2. What’s your BIG WHY? Why do you want to be an entrepreneur?

Some common reasons are making a difference in the world and changing lives,
earning money, having freedom over your schedule, feeling happy, doing what
you love, having fun, learning and growing.

3. What kind of business do you envision for yourself?

Make sure that you consider if it fits in with your lifestyle. Do you want it to be
primarily local or mobile and global? How many hours do you want to work each
week? Are you working from home or do you have an office? Do you want to
work by yourself, have a partner or eventually have a team? Describe your vision
of your business in as much detail as possible.

business?

5. What is your goal for monthly income in the next 12 months?

6. How many clients or program and products would you need to sell to achieve
this? Are you willing to put the time and energy into working this much or do you
need to revisit your goal?

7. What is your biggest heart’s desire for your business in the next year?
For example: sharing a bigger message, making more income, growing your list,
generating passive income, working less hours, becoming more mobile, having
more online programs, becoming retreat-ready etc.

8. What’s holding you back from this goal?

9. Rank what areas you need the most help with (this will help you know where to
focus) by marking each as:

The Big Picture – Positioning

12. What specific practical pressing problem(s) do you solve for your clients?
For inspiration, think of the last 3-5 clients that you had or why your friends
typically ask you for help. What specific practical pressing problem(s) are you
most interested in solving as you move forward in your business? These are the
kinds of problems that keep people up at night or they sit on their couch
wondering about.
