CONTENT STANDARD:
The learner demonstrates understanding of how world literature and other text types serve as ways
of expressing and resolving personal conflicts, also how to use strategies in linking textual
information, repairing, enhancing communication public speaking, emphasis markers in persuasive
texts, different forms of modals, reflexive, and intensive pronouns.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
The learner composes a short but powerful persuasive text using a variety of persuasive techniques
and devices.

EXPLORE:

Activity 1: “SAY WHAT YOU SEE”

 The teacher will introduce the topic by presenting the pictures on the screen.
 She will ask the students to give their insights about the pictures.
 The teacher will process the ideas of the students.
 She will introduce the objectives.

FIRM-UP:

Activity 2: “PASTE ME”

 The teacher will paste the unfamiliar words found in the story and then let the students
unlocked the difficult words given.
 The teacher will introduce the topic through power point presentation.
 She will discuss and explain the content of the story.
 The teacher will ask questions to checked whether the students are paying attention and
understand the message of the story.

DEEPEN:

Activity 3: “GIVE ME”


 The teacher will ask the students to give one example of what she’s asking about and when
the student can’t answer or can’t give any example will be the one to answer the following
questions.
 In the same manner, the teacher will repeat the said activity until all the guided questions
will be answered.
 She will process the ideas of the students.

TRANSFER:

Activity 4: (TEAM GOT TALENT)

 She will ask the students to group themselves into three (3) and they will perform
differentiated tasks. Each group will choose a leader to pick an envelope that contains a task
(poem, role play, song)
 They will be given five (5) minutes to prepare for the given task. Each group will be given a
maximum of two (2) minutes for their presentation.
 Each presentation will be rated based on the RUBRICS given.
