Q4 Answer the following questions regarding the role of Satisfactory

: stakeholders and the degree of stakeholder involvement response
Yes No ☐
4.1. What are the internal and external stakeholders’ roles
in the business environment? Explain each using 100-150 ☐
words.

4.2. Explain why degree of stakeholder involvement varies

in a business environment. Answer in 100-150 words.

Answer 4.1: Internal stakeholders are individuals with a direct connection to the
company. This could be accomplished through employment or ownership.
Employees, owners, shareholders, and managers are all internal stakeholders. They
could be anyone in the organization. Employees are invested in the company's
success to ensure that they are compensated and keep their jobs. Employees may
have a health and safety focus depending on the nature of the business. Shareholders
are focused on a high performance to maximize their investment returns. Managers
are concerned with project management and the operation of individual pieces or
departments of the company. Voting rights based on the number of shares owned or
the percentage of the firm owned are one of the most important responsibilities that
internal stakeholders play.
External stakeholders are individuals who are involved with the company in a non-
direct way. This could be due to a business deal, a desire to learn more about the
items, or concern about the influence on the community. Suppliers, governments,
customers, trade unions, and creditors are examples of external stakeholders. These
are people and organizations who are not affiliated with the company. External
Stakeholders have a vital role in the company's investment and disinvestment. They
are unlikely to be able to influence the company's direction. They are not involved
with any of the company's internal operations or decision-making. The people who
buy the product or use the service are known as customers. Customers can have an
impact on a company by increasing the number of products or services they
purchase, which will result in larger earnings.

Answer 4.2: Stakeholder involvement is critical to any business survival. A

strong vision produced from a thorough strategic planning process is required
for a business to prosper, and an effective strategic plan or marketing plan can
only be achieved through stakeholder involvement. Stakeholder needs are
translated into organizational goals through successful engagement, which
serves as the foundation for effective strategy creation. Finding a point of
agreement or shared motivation aids a group of stakeholders in reaching a
decision and ensures an investment in a worthwhile outcome. Stakeholders can
vary based on the type of company or organization. Employees, consumers,
suppliers, shareholders, regulatory or government agencies, boards of
directors, and business owners are examples of these people.
