Trimmer regulations

The slow down speed trimmer regulates the slow down speed. Do not set speed to low (less than 6 cm/sec on the
wing edge) to avoid that gate get problems in too cold conditions.
6 /

The obstacle sensibility trimmer fine tunes the obstacle detection level learned by the control unit during working
times programming. This fine regulation must be do after working times learning.
Normally the trimmer goes in the center, in this position should be possible to respect rules in most of installations. If
it's need to resolve problems related to norms or to environmental situations (ex. strong wind) is it possible to regulate
this trimmer increasing or decreasing sensibility.

To program quickly the working times, close both wings , then keep pushed till you read AU on the display (3 seconds).
The control unit opens the gate, than it close it. In this phases the control unit learns working times.

During this procedure, the control unit detects if photocells are connected and eventually enables them. Please
don't pass to the photocells beam while learning phase is in progress. Left photocell inputs unconnected if you want to
disable them.W(kd•Çz N-ÿ |û~ßO hÀmK~¢Y ~¿f/T&•Þc¥^vg~ÈT/u([ƒNì0 [fN`–6kµkcW(•ÛˆLN-eöÿ ‹÷Rÿx°dž~¢Y

If the installer don't do programmation of working times, the control unit measure first complete opening after each reset,
and regulate the working time itself in order to have an appropriate slowing down.

Quick radio codes learn:

Push shortly button to learn a remote (C1 is shown on the display), than transmit with remote. All the 4 channels of
the remote are learned. C1

Auto Learning transmitters:

It's possible to learn transmitters quickly without using the base menu. To insert a new transmitter transmit 3 times with the
new remote, making at least 1 second pause between each transmission. Than transmitt 3 times with a transmitter
already in memory and then once with the new. When programmation is done, the stop led on the keyboard flash once.
Attention: This function must be enabled, refer to “advanced menu”.

LC Learning / removing transmitters code:

Select learning code function LC and push enter, than select one of following functions with up/down.
C1: learn a transmitter on channel 1 (start/open).
C2: learn a transmitter on channel 2 (pedestrian/close)
Ra: Delete all transmitters in memory.
Once selected the channel transmitt the code, on the display is show “OK” for a while if operation is done.
To replace the channel of a code, just select desired channel and transmitt once the same code.
To delete just one code, select RT and transmitt the code to be removed, on the display is show “OK” for a while if
operation is done.
To delete all codes, select Ra and push enter, then confirm with Y5.
To exit this menu select EX or push up/down together.

LT learn working time:

Attention: before to start leaning procedure, the gate wings must be closed. Use “dead man” function to put the gate
in the right position. During this procedure also

Select LT in the base menu and push enter, after select the learning mode with up/down.
AU: Automatic learning procedure.
MN: Manual learning procedure.
To exit this menu select EX or push up/down together.

AU Automatic procedure for working time learning:

Attention: in this procedure all safety inputs are disabled. Put the gate in closed position before staring the
procedure.
The wings opens themselves, than they close, in the meanwhile all the working times and values for obstacle
detection sensor are learned. If just motor 2 is connected, the control unit sets itself for “single wing working. If
photocells are connected during this phase, the control unit enables them.

MN Manual procedure for working time learning:

Attention: to do this procedure prepare at least a transmitter into memory. In this procedure all safety inputs are
disabled. Put the gate in closing position before to start.

Both wings start opening, in this phase it's possible to set the slowing down speed using Speed trimmer. Speed
value from 0 to 99 is shown on the display. Once both wings are open, push once enter or give a Start command
to close the gate and finish procedure. Speed trimmer
0 99

During this two procedures, the control unit detects if photocells are connected and eventually enables
them. Please don't pass to the photocells beam while learning phase is in progress. Left photocell inputs
unconnected if you want to disable them.

5P Set pause time:

Use up/down to set the pause time between 0 and 99 seconds. Push enter to confirm. To exit without modifications
push together up and down.
Attention, setting a pause time different than 0 it enables automatic closing mode.

AR Automatic learning of Radio codes:

Enabling this function, the board is able to lear radio codes without operating on it (check Automatic learning of Radio
codes function paragraph). Use up/down to choose yes (Y5), not (NT) or exit (EX). Push enter to confirm.

Bl Blinker mode:
Enabling this function, the blinker flashes itself with no need of external flashing boards.

CN Counter
Show the number of cycles done by the automation, in 3 groups. The max number Is 99 99 99 (nine hundred ninety nine
thousands and ninety nine).

D2 Load defaults:
Choosing this menu and confirming with yes (Y5), sets the control unit at factory defaults. Be careful, check defaults
settings table on this manual to check value set with this command.

5G Single wing mode:

In this menu it's possible to verify or set if gate works in single wing mode (motor 2). Use up/down to choose yes (Y5), not
(NT) or exit (EX). Push enter to confirm.

OC Open/Close mode
Enabling this function start and pedestrian inputs works as open and close commands.

pc Photocells mode:
In this menu is it possible to select if photocells are NC (nc) or NO (NO).

8
DT Detect close mode:D 2
If this function is enabled, a detect command let the gate closes just after 2 seconds it reach the fully open position.

RM Radio mode:
Select 1B to learn 1 by one the button using LC menu. Select 4B to learn all 4 button of transmitter in 1 shot. The
codify of each key will be automatically assigned. Buttons assigned in 4B mode are: Open, close, pedestrian opening and
stop. 1B LC 1 4B 1 4

TM Working times menu:

In this menu it's possible to modify working times of control unit:
T1 – Working time motor 1 1
51 – Start time slowdown motor 1
T2 – Working time motor 2 2
52 – Start time slowdown motor 2 2
DO – Motors delay opening
DC – Motors delay closing
TL – Electric lock activation time
EX – Exits from advanced menu
Once selected working time to be changed, use Ă
to modify it from 0 to 99 seconds. Push to confirm.
To exit without modifications select EH or push together and .
ML Magnetic lock mode:
If this function is enabled (y5), the lock output can control a magnetic lock. When the gate is closed the output is on, to
keep the gate closed, once the control unit receives an opening command, the lock is released (lock output off). If this
function is disabled (NT), the lock output controls a standard electric lock.

C5 Enable kickback stroke:C5

In this menu you can enable the stroke at start to unlock electric lock and the final stroke to lock it.

WM Wheel mode:
Set this mode when there are limit switches/board which cut directly the power to the motors once these reach end
position. Once the control unit feels motor circuit current decreases under 200mA, it assumes it as the motor is in end
position.
