Introduction
The K to 12 Program is geared to provide individual ample time for mastery of
concepts and skills, and prepare graduates for tertiary education, middle-level
skills development, employment, and entrepreneurship. Mostly, the reality of
every training is focused on the production process of a certain product which
oftentimes failed to bring it to the next significant level .The development of a
specified production skill in Agri-Fishery Arts is not sufficient in fulfilling
everyone's dream to accumulate wealth and be financially stable. Students
should undertake and master business activities such as; offering and selling
of products and services to people and to the community, manage business
activities, and such activities are referred to as entrepreneurship.

WHAT STARTED BUSINESSES?
A popular adage that says, “Necessity is the mother of all inventions” simply
means that we develop technologies to produce something that will answer
mankind’s diverse needs. In the previous decades, we domesticated pigs to
meet the demands of every family when celebrating birthdays, weddings,
fiestas, etc... We did simply feed these animals with kitchen waste of which
have compromise the quality of meat produced from it. We failed to see the
value that most of the excess meat products from our household landed on
neighbors’ kitchens.
But nowadays pork has dramatically found its way to the top of consumers
list. Majority of the total population in the country demand for pork. This
transition helps paved the way to new technologies in hog raising which
results to mass production of quality swine meat in a short period of time.
Farm mechanization explains it all.
Many entrepreneurs engaged in farm machinery operation business like the
installation of automatic feeder that dispense hog feeds in a simultaneous
manner to a huge animal population in the farm thereby eliminating feeding
stress factor which affects much on “feed to meat” conversion, Cold storage
facilities that maintains the freshness of the meat after slaughter, machines
that would convert farm waste into reusable energy that maintains the
lighting, ventilation, and other related installations that can be found inside
and outside of the piggery houses.

business.
